Strava's competitive spirit is just so addictive. I love and hate it at the same time. I love going for KOMs and analyzing my data, but at the same time it ruined our cycling group; nobody wants to go for a chill ride anymore.

We shouldn't forget what these activities are really about. I am not always thinking about beating my Strava records when I run, but it's nice when I do. I know I'm unlikely to be the quickest at anything.
