It has been a while already since I haven’t gone home. I’m a married guy, living quite far from home. However, distance is not an issue since there is a motorcycle to ride on. I became a busy person these days when my wife started working. So, you know, not being home is kind of heavy in my heart. Added to the unending rain for days, it makes me emotional. As I always said, I have a moody personality that sometimes I don’t know what’s going on.

I don’t always have time to wander off but if I have I make sure it is worth it. I remember I went to the forest to go to a certain land. River caught my interest by just watching it. My hometown doesn’t have anything like that and seeing this in person, not just through social media or television; It mesmerized me as I saw the river streaming from a far that couldn’t be seen how my eyes could reach.

It happened for months I guess, it was long ago that it just became a memory. Even so, when the rain never stops falling these days. Sad emotions came in and I wanted to wash it away. There’s no reason in the first place to feel this way. It’s just my paradoxical attitude that all of a sudden drives me to feel this way.

Because of this, the home comes into my thoughts. I don’t want to feel this way, so walking to a river is a thought of relieving it. Just what if, what if it is too easy to be that way? Like when feeling the pain, it can easily be healed without suffering it for long. Yes, I’m fully aware that life is not like that. Through pain and experiencing it we can learn and accept the happenings that it’s part of it.

Yeah, walking along that river with friends was a good thing. It gave me ways and ideas on how to control emotions. Like when you’re feeling down, you just need to go out for a walk and enjoy what the eyes can see. There’s no need to set goals and ideals, anything can be fine as long as you appreciate every little thing. Anyway, it’s the secret of happiness, being content with what you have right now.

Well, I think it’s a good thing that I reflected my thoughts into this river. How calm and peaceful it was, it makes me feel the same. Though sad things don’t go away like dust when the wind blows. It will still be washed away like when the river flows, it leaves a mark but soon for sure it will.
