Engagement On Threads Isn't Just Only About Posting of Published Post Links: Find Out More Here
Yesterday evening, according to my geographical location and country of residence, which is Nigeria, I joined the podcast live on Facebook, where boss Khaleelkazi and his longtime friend and partner on the show were talking about threads, engagement rates, and very many aspects and hacks engaged by members, which they think is a medium of engagement. I didn't want to write this as a blog post at some point, but then I had a second thought, the reason being that I wanted us all to grow and a greater percentage of us didn't join the online podcast.
Threading was much more announced by the new UI, and because of the incentives and very many other features associated with it, it prompted most members to resort to using it more often, though to an extent, that was one of the ideas behind integrating it on the new UI. The rate of thread use became too prolific as very many people bought the idea behind threads, even those outside of the leofinance community. Engagements were instantaneously multiplied, and according to reports, the result of the first quarter of MAUs was exceeded, and threading was one of the lifelines that did this.
There is More to Threading Than Posting Of Links
There was a point in thread use where, at the early stages of threads, posting of links to published posts was encouraged and people were advised to do so; posting of links bearing relevancy on some social media handles, such as Twitter, was used as an example. But many succumbed to this, and it looks like most people are doing the wrong thing instead of the right.
This is so because most of these threaders are to a much greater extent "ghost threaders," in the sense that they don't thread that much or at all on the system, find it difficult to use the necessary available features encoded on threads to make better use of them, and do not reply to most of the comments made under those links posted on thread. This was observed much more by boss @khaleelkazi as he talked extensively about it on the last online podcast and, to a much greater extent, I employed and supported his opinion on this.
Threading has much more to do than the mere posting of links on it. Am not writing off the posting of links on thread but then the posters should have other stuffs provided for threads to engage therein on it.
Some of Other Ways to Engage on Thread Are:
[a]
Using polls as one of the features made available on thread. This feature helps a lot much more as one can generate response to a particular question or area of confusion by providing people with options to this and then sees the feedback through votes. This is simple and yet another engaging aspect on threads.
[b]
Merely or directly publishing of threads on the threading channel with the right and proper tagging. There are very many topics that can serve as a thread to be published and very many communities added on thread serves it just right. So it is simple and easy as ABC for one to engage through this way too.
[c]
Constantly reply people that commented on your thread cast and also comment too on peoples threads, this too will help create a bond and facilitate easy engagement on threads.

Louder brother louder!!!
I honestly am getting fed up, half of the contests that takes place on Hive requires you post your link on thread!
Every corner you turn to there’s a link there, people can post link but it shouldn’t be abused!
Thank you, You got the point behind this, thanks for stopping by. Are you a Nigerian?
Yes I am😀
