WEEKEND-ENGAGEMENT 144: TIME TO DIE
The following lines are the summary of an interview conducted by @mosa71 to Euthanasia.
This interview was conducted for the #144 contest suggested by @galenkp
Let's see what Euthanasia herself thinks of herself.
"Hello, it is the first time that someone decides to interview me, everyone thinks about me, however it has been the Hive platform, the first to show interest in my autobiography.
My name is Euthanasia, I am the one so hated by many and desired by others.
I was born in controversial times where there is a misunderstanding of what dignified death is.
Perhaps there are many things that the collective does not know about me.
You may know me only by reference, by what you have been told about me,
so it is very easy to say that you know me. Therefore, I want to share with you several points:
1- I was not created for everyone's taste or need.
2-Although you may not believe it, my desire is to help anyone who in particular and ultimately requires my lethal companionship.
I am pleased to accompany only living beings who have terminal or degenerative illnesses that detract from their life.
Otherwise, I do not consider necessary my instruction in their lives.
3-I do not wish to impose myself or to be accepted by everyone. I recognize that my presence in your lives generates controversy, my presence and acceptance is a very delicate subject, with many nuances, I am no one to say what each one of you wishes to do with your lives, to accept me or not is a very personal decision, I accept and respect it.
4- It bothers me when political powers, religions, sciences and laws decide my intervention and mismanagement of my participation for their convenience.
5- Believe it or not I love life and its facets: birth, growth, evolution and death, all these facets from the most worthy that a living being can experience.
6- I am struck by how some humans naturally accept my participation in the life of their pets at the end of their life cycle, however in the case of their relatives or friends they feel conflicted in using me.
7- I know that for many of the family members and loved ones who have experience with my presence, it must not be easy to accept me. I put myself in their shoes, it really must not be easy. I only ask that they think that they rest and transcend the suffering. I truly apologize.🙏
If you manage to resignify what you feel for me, you will possibly see me in each plant whose leaves begin to dry, or its dried flowers coexist on the same branch with other beautifully alive flowers that just by seeing them, their colors and aromas invite you to deeply love what is most valuable. that exists: life in the present moment."
End of interview.
After the interview, I was reminded of the mystery of some plants whose dead leaves look more beautiful and colorful than their new, living leaves.
Euthanasia is a very delicate subject, as delicate as life itself.

This is a creative way to talk and write about euthanasia. The subject is indeed usually met with mixed opinions and reactions so I believe it truly depends on the person faced with real situations to do what he/she feels right.
Hi @ifarmgirl !! Yes, it is a very delicate, very personal issue. It has many edges.
I appreciate your time to read my post and give me your feedback.
🙏
Yes, it definitely is a personal matter or decision and I love how you take on the subject❤
Pleasure to read and thank you too.
@ifarmgirl 🌹
Hava nivel day.
Your interview really shows your topic to be outstanding though not liked by any @mosa71, but generally felt by all living being.
Thanks for sharing.
Hi @essygold1 ! Thanks for stopping by to read my post.
It is a very sensitive, very personal and subjective topic. I agree with you. It is so difficult that even I decided to write it in third person to give my opinion.
Receive my embrace.
@syllem i am going to read your post. This topic is interesting and very controversial. We agree on the topic: "each head is a world" (this is a typical expression from Venezuela), which means that everyone is different and therefore we think and decide differently.
Thank you for reading my beautiful @sil💐

@miriannalis Thank you for your visit ando time to read me. 🌹
Its a topic very controversial.
I took my time to read your interview which I found comforting, full of acceptance, optimism and hope. Euthanasia is at the top of a very hot topic, so it is not easy to talk about it. You respect each person's point of view and especially that of the person who is living with a terminal or degenerative illness. I totally agree with you with the people who have a pet and euthanize it so that they can transcend with dignity or without suffering, but then when we talk about a human being, the situation changes in nuance. I think we need to understand, to learn about euthanasia and its role. We also need to accept it, to let it go and let go of control and judgments.
