Hace 29 años compramos la mesa de nuestro comedor y todavía lo conservo en buen estado, es de madera con paños de vidrio, siempre lo he cuidado, mantenido y lo he mandado a retocar en color bengué porque era color caoba, siendo un color muy de moda para la época, para mi tiene mucho valor sentimental porque lo compré unos días antes de mí boda.

En estos momentos por la situación país es difícil que me compre otro, lo tengo en mente pero dentro de un par de años, ya que tengo otras prioridades.

29 years ago we bought the table of our dining room and I still keep it in good condition, it is made of wood with glass cloths, I have always taken care of it, maintained it and I have sent it to retouch in bengué color because it was mahogany color, being a very fashionable color for the time, for me it has a lot of sentimental value because I bought it a few days before my wedding.
At this moment due to the country situation it is difficult for me to buy another one, I have it in mind but in a couple of years, as I have other priorities.

Les cuento que mi esposo por las noches en nuestra casa da clase de matemática, cálculo y física a diferentes jóvenes que residen en mi urbanización, resulta ser que un día me puse a limpiar mi hogar como lo hacemos todo las amas de casa para mantenerlo limpio y fresco; por lo general cuando limpio suelo cambiar el mantel del comedor si está sucio y coloco uno nuevo. Cuando me dispuse a quitarlo y observé que uno de los paños estaba agrietado en diagonal por todo el centro, así paso como 15 días, pero luego la grieta avanzo y terminó de partirse.

I tell you that my husband at night in our house gives mathematics, calculus and physics classes to different young people who live in my urbanization, it turns out that one day I started to clean my home as all housewives do to keep it clean and fresh; usually when I clean I usually change the dining room tablecloth if it is dirty and I put a new one. When I got ready to remove it, I noticed that one of the cloths was cracked diagonally across the center, so I spent about 15 days, but then the crack progressed and ended up splitting.

Asumo que en algún momento de la clase uno de los chicos haya pensado que la mesa era de madera y se apoyó en el vidrio o dejó caer algo pesado, pero en fin, estaba partido y había que cambiarlo.

Mi esposo llamó a una cristalería para sustituirlo, el cristalero le dijo que le llevara uno de los otros paños para cortarlo a la medida, le informó que como era un vidrio pequeño que su precio era 15 dólares, esto fue rápido en menos de una hora mi esposo llegó a la casa ya con el vidrio y el mismo lo colocó en el hueco que tenía el comedor.

I assume that at some point in the class one of the kids must have thought the table was made of wood and leaned on the glass or dropped something heavy, but anyway, it was cracked and needed to be replaced.
My husband called a glass shop to replace it, the glazier told him to take one of the other cloths to cut it to size, he informed him that since it was a small glass that its price was 15 dollars, this was fast in less than an hour my husband arrived home already with the glass and he placed it in the hole that had the dining room.

Es importante atender siempre las cosas de la casa, porque cuando le damos largas, encima de que las cosas se ponen mas costosas, la casa se ve descuidada.
