First Post & Introduction on Hive

Let Me Re-Introduce Myself

Hi, I'm Awe Ayobami but everyone calls me Morahn, well I recently added SAGE to my name because it just feels right... You know - Morahnsage, sounds cool yea?

I've been on this platform for about 4 years now. I've blogged on Steemit, vlogged on Dtube, and done a lot of artwork,s and a lot of fun stuff cause I enjoy the process. I worked with Oracle D, Esteem, Steemjet, Goldenproject, Steempress, Steemrepo, Genesisproject.

Reading, writing, making videos, directing videos, acting, sketching and other artistic stuff has always been a part of me since I was a kid, and platforms like this allow me to explore my creativity and showcase it for you to see. Well it's been fun so far but unfortunately, I stopped posting 3 years ago due to frequent acting jobs and content creation at that time, I won't say I regret it though but I'm not very happy about it because I've missed out on a lot of things, latest updates and opportunities on this platform. Trust me finding your foot in the filmmaking industry here in Africa is never easy, it's not easy in other continents too but I can only speak for myself and how things work where I come from.

Has Acting/Filmmaking Been Fun?

Yes, it has, I've become better over the years, learned new drills, met with lots and lots of celebrities, worked directly with them, figured how to be relevant in the industry, and have featured in some major films which will be out on Netflix and Cinemas soon and some of them can even be found on YouTube like this comedy series - ATOM (A tale of Musendiku), Riona fighting fate (series) on Africa Magic Showcase and lots more, so you can see what I'm talking about. The experience has been mind-blowing and beneficial though quite stressful, but who cares about the stress after all I'm a strong guy. Imagine being paid for what you enjoy doing. I'm passionate about impact, especially in the form of acting yet I'm getting paid for it "That's like robbery" like Rihanna said.

Seems like my story is getting long o, hope you don't mind.

Like I said it's been a fun journey in the movie industry the only challenge is that if you're not well known you won't be featured in films consistently, I get to go for auditions upon auditions done series of monologues and dialogues and put together acting showreels and all of that just to get tractions but it's not been easy still.

Anyway I remembered I have a decentralized platform where I also do what I love to do but abandoned it because of acting, so I thought it won't be a bad idea shuffling the two. So here I am, back on this platform that I once could not do without. Working simultaneously as an actor and a b/vlogger is not a bad idea since I enjoy it.

This is my first post on Hive and I want you to please welcome me back into the family, encourage me and I'm sure not to let you down. And I must say a lot of improvements have been made on this ECENCY app cause that's what I'm posting through right now and I love it.
