The movie Cabeza de Vaca was filmed here, in La Tovara in San Blas Nayarit.
As I mentioned last week I visited "La Tovara" in San Blas Nayarit, it was a lovely experience, especially to see the "huts" that are on the way as they take you in the boats to the spring called "La Tovara".
As I understand the site was used for the filming of a movie that premiered in October 1991 and which is called "Cabeza de Vaca" seeing these small constructions is part of the attraction, but so is traveling through this nature reserve full of mangroves and wildlife, turtles, crocodiles, herons, hundreds of fish, I could not mention everything you can see, but I can say that it is worth the tour.
In each one of the photos of the huts I tried different editings to see which one looked better, the light was very strong so I had a little trouble, we can see the tourists coming from the United States to enjoy the landscape, the small pier in La Tovara, and the beautiful color of the water coming out of the spring.

Usually in my area, huts like this are specially made by fishermen to put nets in the river.
Very beautiful picture my brother..
Thank you very much, in a few weeks I will try to go again, there is so much to see that I feel I missed something.
I am imagining that I am traveling on the Amazon River, even though it's not exactly located in Mexico 😅
Yes, in fact I felt the same way, there is a river that I still need to explore, the following picture was taken on a bridge, but I think this one is even more similar to the Amazon because of its size, it didn't even reach to go from side to side because I didn't change the lens for a more angular one.
It is called Rio Santiago.
Very very nice photographs 🥰
Thanks 😃
You really did a great job capturing this ones. Love the house ones! LD
Thank you so much, the truth is that they are very important in the tour.
Fabulous shots. I'd love to spend a couple of days in such a hut, away from everything and everyone! It should be great for the soul! 😎
It is excellent for the soul and mind, I agree.
