Pictures of the walk, my entry to today's Monomad challenge.
As I mentioned before, I find myself in a somewhat complicated and new situation for me, the truth is that I was taken by surprise by my age and the lack of physical activity, which kept me on alert for a few days.
But fortunately at this very moment I can say that I am almost over it all, I still have to take medication both in the morning and at night, but I definitely feel much better, with more energy and with a new more positive attitude, it is incredible to think that just a few weeks ago the outlook looked much worse than it really is.
In addition to the medications, I have also acquired a more responsible attitude towards my health, so I try to go out almost every day to walk in the park or in the city and I do it for at least an hour every time I go out, and I take the opportunity to take these pictures to share with you.
Looking for textures
The truth is that this day I went out with the intention of finding interesting textures to take pictures and my idea was from the beginning to take the pictures in black and white to ensure a correct exposure of the images, as I also mentioned, at this moment I am working exclusively with free software like darktable to edit my RAW pictures.
Although I found a problem that I could already solve in the simplest way you can imagine, when using the color picture profiles in my case from Canon, the resulting images tend to have an underexposure that in the end plays against us, so by lowering the contrast, saturation and sharpness we get a better picture ready to work in Darktable.
Passiflora edulis
Textures were not my thing, so I decided to show a plant that I am taking advantage of, it is the Passiflora edulis, from whose fruit we can get many benefits including better control of blood pressure levels, that's why every time I go to the park I take advantage and bring all the fruits I find.
In this first photo I concentrated more on what would become the petals of the flower, in the second photo I think I got a better result.
And at the end the fruit still hanging from the plant, the truth is that I always pick the fruits that have already fallen from the plant, which are ripe and ready to eat.
A color photo to give you an idea of the fruit, in this case it is one that some bird, squirrel, or rat found in the place went ahead of me and ate the fruit.
The final picture.
As I kept walking I could see this beautiful scene, I really liked how it looked and I wish I had taken more pictures but I made a rookie mistake by not checking the battery level or carrying an extra battery, as a result I was left without the possibility to keep taking pictures, at least that day.
On the bright side, not having everything I wanted forces me to have to go another day and look for what was missing, so more exercise for me.
