My entry to today's Monomad Challenge, Noisy Images.
Today, like the previous days, I decided to go to the park to distract my mind and cool off under the shade of the trees, I've probably already said this many times but the heat wave that is currently spreading throughout Mexico is overwhelming, and there is no better way to cope with this situation than spending time outdoors, but as I say, under the shade of the trees because otherwise the sun will end up exhausting your strength.
By the time I decided it was time to start taking pictures it was too late and this time I took the pictures with the following gear: Canon EOS M50 Mark II, Lens: Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II, and as you can see in each of the pictures I had to let the ISO go up as much as necessary, although I set ISO 3200 as a stop, so let's start with these pictures.
I have taken pictures of this pair of ducks before, I know because one of them has a spot on his head and is easy to recognize, but many of these pictures are archived because they have technical problems or because I have not had time to edit, anyway today I took three pictures of them thinking of doing the post in black and white and what better contrast than using the white color of their feathers to stand out in the picture.
Now the eyes of a turtle although in reality this turtle is in my house, it was given to me some time ago and I have not yet decided what to do with it, I will probably take it to the park although I need to investigate if it can be there or not, I must be responsible with the native species of the place.
Now one of the pictures that could have turned out better than it did, although as I say it was late and the light was low so I had to let the ISO go up.
Also remember that I have the habit of shooting handheld, without tripod and without external flash, even so I'm sure you will like the following picture, although on Saturday I took pictures here, today I took advantage that I had another lens to see with which one looks better, I still have to try two more lenses, I hope my luck doesn't run out.
Now two photographs that I took when it was even darker, but that I definitely liked the result and in a way is what I was looking to do with the photographs, backlighting is always interesting.
And the last picture of the day, you will be surprised by the shutter speed and it is the advantage of using stabilized lenses, luckily for me at that moment the wind stopped running, because otherwise even with the tripod I would not have gotten the photo I wanted, I don't know what the hell are those seeds, but I liked the composition, this is all for the moment, see you in the next post.
So wonderful 🤍
Great captures…
I do the same, all hand held and without flash. Just be in the moment.
Thanks for sharing. Have a lovely Wednesday 👋🏻😊
Thank you very much, I like to go out to take pictures like this to avoid carrying a lot of gear, sometimes it works although I also have some horrible pictures that I wouldn't dare to share.
You are welcome 👋🏻😊 likewise.
Camera gear can be so heavy…
Yep, we all do have those captures hehehe 🤭
Thank you.
