Minimalist photography, a difficult style for me, my entry to today's Monomad Challenge.

There is a style that I like a lot and every time I try it I am unsatisfied because I don't feel that I can capture with my camera what I really want, it is minimalist photography, and as its name suggests, it seeks to simplify the photograph so that when you see it, you see what is important in the photo without being distracted by all the information present such as people, or additional objects to the image.

Most of the time, some people understand the style differently and only apply it to architectural photography for example, or interior decoration, I personally like to apply it to everything that is around me, and to make this short post with five images it took me almost 3 months to complete the photographs, since it is not something that I do every day in my life.

The trips that I have made during this year have allowed me to take the photographs in different scenarios, but although some people may tell me that they are not 100% minimalist, the truth is that surely when you see the photographs, your gaze is on the main element, and that is the idea of the style.

What I am sure of, is that without practice it is impossible to improve in what you are doing, so as a personal goal I will try to get more into this style.

To create this style it is not necessary to leave the house, and many of the elements we have at hand serve us perfectly to create these photographs, but well, you can't blame me for trying it on the beach for example.

And well, there are still more things I need to learn, accessories I need to buy and lenses I need to invest in, not because the lenses will make me a better photographer, but having more gear makes life a lot easier when taking pictures.
