I found a perfect place for bird photography

It's been more than two months since I've done a post here on hive, and it's all because I've had a lot of work and little at the same time, which makes me look for new options and during the last months, two to be exact, I've been going out of town to a quite interesting place where I've found birds of different types, sizes and ways of feeding, hunters and prey, sounds like an interesting title although today I'll only show the hunter's pictures.

As I said I have been going out during this time, not that I go every day but I have tried to go at least once a week, which has left my car's suspension destroyed and I have to repair it before returning to the place, but I really think it has been worth it, I have studied the place and the different places where I could use a photo blind, this would help me greatly to take better pictures by allowing the birds to get closer to me, but it is something I still need to invest in as well, for the moment the bushes and patience have been my best friends.

But enough talk, let's see today's pictures which are about a hunter of which I do not know, you know I am sincere and my knowledge about birds is limited and I am learning as I go along taking pictures, this day was early in the morning, about 6 o'clock, and while driving around the place I could see this bird about 150 meters away on the tree, it was hunting, watching the place just like me, so I stopped the car and started walking through the trees, there were moments when I had to crawl to not be seen, I was extremely dirty although I think I should have taken a picture of myself, but the truth is that the emotion for the pictures didn't let me think about other things.

This is the photograph I like the most, although it is a cropping of the original photograph that we can see below.

According to my limited knowledge, it tells me that this bird is a hawk although I have no idea if this is the correct name and much less I think it is the scientific name, but it would be good to know your opinion because I know that you know everything about birds, although google says that it is a buteo.

To be honest I have seen many, but many similar birds in the place, and I am convinced that I have seen eagles too, besides scavengers, ducks of at least 15 different species, some 4 different species of doves, I have also seen quails running like crazy between the roads and many small birds of which I do not know either, I already have some pictures of what has been photographed although they are not the best but they will serve to share the place with you, the ducks and quails are especially difficult to approach, at the slightest movement they leave the site so I will see if I can get the photo blind or if I can build one with materials from the place, of course it will have to be the next time I go once I fix my car, but as I say, the site is worth it although I think that seeing that diversity it is better to keep the place in secret.

The photos are definitely worth the effort! It does seem more something on the buzzards family. Try Merlin app, is awesome in helping with bird identification.
