Feathered Friends - Show Me A Photo Contest Round 177, Pato Real Mexicano
Everyone loves to take a bath
No matter what kind of weather we are in, we all love a good swim, especially on hot days, and although on this occasion the day was a cloudy one, the heat was unbearable and the ducks had to take a bath.
When I arrived at the site I started to observe this duck, it was moving a lot and it was in a difficult position to take a picture, so I had to wait for a moment.
As time went by this second duck arrived and although I liked the picture a lot, I decided to remove the color so that the color of the trees would not affect the vision of the main element in the picture, which is the duck.
Finally, El pato real mexicano to which I started taking pictures of was in a better angle for me to continue enjoying the show he was giving me, I feel it was a private show, I was watching, and they were the actors of this beautiful event, a simple bath can be epic when the conditions are the right ones.
I also took a couple of pictures of this little duck although to be honest I didn't feel they were as impressive, however you may like them better than I do.
At the end of the bath, El pato real mexicano decided to come out just where I was, he stopped a meter away from where I was sitting and let me take two more pictures, not the best ones because he kept moving and it was quite difficult to focus the camera.
And to prove what I say, here we can see how close I am to the bird, the key is patience, not making sudden movements and having a relaxed mind and inner peace, I sincerely believe that our appearance reflects our inner state.
Thanks for watching the pictures, see you in the next post.
You are right - patience is important and waiting for the right moment, then the result is rewarding - stunning picture.
Thank you for your lovely post and beautiful photos! 🙂
