Turkey day , How Keeping poultry and Farming will aid each other as two separate and inter-elated Jobs for maximum productivity .

Having thought about the possibility of doing these separate farming jobs together, I realized that it will be really beneficial if we can combine both farming and poultry keeping.
Poultry droppings are an excellent source of fertilizer for our farm work and if I can successful raise birds it will be cheap source of fertilizer for my farms.
Most times before planting rice we have always had cows grazing on the previous year debri and by so doing cow dungs are a common thing in our rice farms. Hence these rice produces very well and the additional organic fertilizers we often add are really small and usually hulles production so that the rice grains can be thick and large in sizes.

Our other farms have suffered a lack of enough manure unlike the rice fields and because the lands are getting scarce these days we have to cultivate thesame field over and over again.
If one is at a disadvantage and cannot practice shifting cultivation, having animal dungs and poultry fields will be a good way to replenish the soil nutrients.

Although today is Sunday, a resting day from farm work I noticed some neighborhood turkey 🦃 playing around the streets and it geared my curiosity towards how turkey can also be raised with free range method of raising birds 🐔

Learning a thing or two from their owner was really enlightening.
The turkey 🦃 are now grown and can eat almost anything. They can be raised in a cage system just like birds, feed on what birds eat as well but at this stage they farmer wanted them to enjoy some fredom outside they cage .

And like prisoners released from their cage, they ran right into the middle of the road and cars were careful to avoid them.

From what I have heard and seen today, raising poultry wouldn't be a difficult task.
I have also gotten an important piece of advice from the community to start saving funds on hive towards buying farmland and field to be used for both farming and poultry rearing.

Having to farm on leased portions of land yearly is really expensive and the lands are guaranteed to be available. Buying lands for personal agricultural purpose is really a good one for anyone looking into such business.
