Hello Hive

Compliment of the season family and friends I hope that we are enjoying the holiday with no interruptions from the cold 🥶❄️ and extreme weather, it is very easy to catch a flu and cold related illness please stay protected.

The holiday has been a pleasant one for me as it has been joy upon joy back and forth me. Since the prompt wants us to share about what we have done for the holiday, you will be hearing about some of the events that marked my Holiday already.
The holiday and festivities been married together, I was able to sew some free outfits for my friends which they had rocked to church for the celebration.

Another thing we often do in this season is a visitation to the orphanage. This is a part of my yearly engagement, I volunteer with an organization and usually we show love to everyone around us in this season both in cash and kind. Last Saturday was the outreach to the orphanage and I was involved in sewing some Christmas caps for the children, we didn't want them to feel left behind from the celebration in any way.

Clothes, shoes and school supplies were made available as gifts for the children.Babies from months old to 15years live together in this place under the watch and care of volunteers and caregivers.Eventually my team visited the children and you can see their happy faces here.A little activity involving, singing carol songs, prayers and some playful activities was organized for the kids and you can see their countenance here 🥳🥰

It's a season of love and we must go all out to be extra hospitable. Yesterday been Christmas day and someone with a lot of people around me, it will not be satisfying if I have nothing to feed my guest on.
So you can guess how occupied I was cooking different delicacies and entertaining people.
Due to the recent inflation not many people had much to eat and it will only be fair if we can invite them over for a meal. Been hospitable the whole Christmas day was gratifying for me.

My immediate family all live here meaning that traveling in this holiday is out of it for me. If I am to travel it will be to visit my grandma in the village and see my other relatives too. They all went home for Christmas and I can imagine the homecoming over there. Nevertheless I still had some quality time with my family here.
Most times we are usually busy and regardless of the proximity of our homes we barely get to see each other, so for the holiday we all came together to papa's house both old and young to celebrate after first attending the Christmas day service in church 🥂🥳.

It has been an altogether wonderful moments for me and I look forward to the other activities I might engage in before the holiday is over and most importantly the plans that will take place before the new year amongst others.
