School excursion - Sissu, Himachal Pradesh || Part 1
Hello everyone!
Being a Himachali I always prefer to write about Himachal . In previous blog I wrote briefly about the Himachal Pradesh.
So now in this blog I want to take you people to ‘The Valley of God’ Lahaul & Spiti, is one of the District of Himachal.
After Covid pandemic everyone wants to go for long trip. Covid is almost over in India and here in Himachal Pradesh no one suffers now as per the Governments notice the Schools and offices should run smoothly.
Keeping all of this in our mind our school management decided to take class X for a picnic to Lahaul and Spiti with 87 student and 9 escorts.
So here it goes…
The children were very excited for the picnic. A circular was circulated to the children and consent was taken from the parents.
All programs was set, children were divided into the groups with escorts.
Children were looking very colourful with casual, carrying their travelling luggage and eatables. The new generation are very fashionable, really they all were looking very cool.
We left from Kullu to Sissu (Lahaul & Spiti) on 30th April near about 1:00 p.m. and we reach Manali at 2:15 p.m., Manali . We had a small halt at over there.
Here you can see the mountains all around covered with cedar trees.
It is situated in the Northern end of Kullu Valley and river Beas flows beneath the town. Manali seems to look like Switzerland during winters.
Between Manali to Sissu there are so many tourist places to visit, you can enjoy or pass the nice time with your family and friends.
Here the weather is so fantastic these days but don’t forget to carry your warm clothes. Because sometime weather can be unpredictable in this valley.
The dawn was nearby and the time was passing very fast and we had to reach well in time at Sissu.
The children were enjoying every bit of the trip. in the bus, while sitting, walking every where they didn't miss any moment some were clicking the photographs with their mobile, carrying their own cameras, taking selfie etc.
After crossing the Atal Tunnel the helipad is made for the chopper, here again we stayed for a while and celebrated the birthday of one of the class X student.
We captured some group photos. These memories will always be preserved in our hearts.
We moved from there in 1 hour and reach Sissu near about 5 O’ clock. Taking a cup of coffee we rest in a Hotel PLM. The view from this place is amazing, you can forgot everything and find yourself in a heaven.
Having dinner at night we had a dance with children and the bonfire around us made the night more special . Children were shouting, dancing and singing madly. And also some activities have been done at the hotel campus.
This is how we ended our day 1 of excursion. I'll be posting the second part of the blog soon.
I hope you liked it.
Enjoy!
