Conocybe Mushroom Plants, Caterpillars, and Dragonflies

Hello friends, how are you today and hopefully we are all still in good health and can participate in activities smoothly.

Tuesday, January 14 2025, on this happy occasion I would like to show again the images from the macro photography results that I have prepared. For today there are three macro image moments that have a beautiful appearance both in terms of shape and also in terms of color. The macro images that I prepared are macro images of mushroom plants growing in places where there are lots of grass plants. Then the second image display that I want to show is a picture of caterpillars on wild plants. Caterpillars also have a pretty good color display and there are color variations on their body parts so it's good enough for us to get macro images. Then for the third image display that I want to show, namely the image of a dragonfly. This animal, which has quite large eyes, is a type of animal that we usually find in wild plants and it also often plays the role of flower friends.

Before I continue to discuss the picture that I have prepared, it would be a good idea for me to say my words of respect to all my friends wherever they are and hopefully the best will always be for us together. OK, friends, let's look at the pictures that I have prepared.

The type of fungus that I showed above is Conocybe, this fungus usually grows in the soil and it also grows where there is animal waste such as buffalo dung and cow dung. This morning I was going around the land where I keep fish and on the pond embankments there were lots of grass plants growing. Usually, livestock such as cattle and goats are often released on this land. We can say that in this area there is a lot of dirt but it spreads so that when it rains the place has a high level of humidity so this type of fungus can grow.
As I mentioned above, this type of mushroom is a type of mushroom that cannot be consumed and contains poison in it. Even though this is not a mushroom that can be consumed, the appearance and beauty of this mushroom is truly very beautiful. My own feeling when I see this mushroom is that I certainly like its appearance because this part of the mushroom has the appearance of opening an umbrella, feeling like it is raining.

And under that umbrella, it also seems to have fibers that we can see quite clearly at a macro level like this. This mushroom has a stem about 6 cm high and at the top it also has a circle like an umbrella when it rains. I felt like taking a picture of this mushroom, I was lying on the ground and my smartphone camera was directly touching the ground so I could capture a beautiful image of the herbal medicine. And we can see that around this mushroom is overgrown with wild grass.

Then for the second image display I will show an image of a caterpillar. Caterpillars are a type of insect that has many types and each type also has a beautiful appearance. Some caterpillars have fine hairs on their bodies and if they touch our skin it is quite dangerous because they can cause swelling on our skin. There are also caterpillars that don't have hair and can be held. The caterpillar that I am showing is a caterpillar that has quite a beautiful color display and we can see, as in the picture above, that the colors of this snake are quite beautiful. I saw it in the wild plants and then I tried to approach it slowly to be able to take some pictures of the snake. When I saw this caterpillar I didn't dare to touch it even though it didn't have any fine hairs visible on its body. I just pointed my smartphone camera at the ball about 10 inches so I could take a macro photo of the caterpillar.

Then the third thing I showed was a picture of a dragonfly. This dragonfly was stopping at wild plants or in several places in the small forest area close to where I live and with that feeling I tried to approach it and then took several pictures of the dragonfly. We can see in the eyes that this dragonfly has large eyes and it also has broad vision and has sharp jaws. With his sharp jaws he can prey on other animals that are smaller than him. When I was little, I often looked for dragonflies to catch and I often held their tails.

OK, friends, those are some of the image displays that I can show you today and hopefully with these several image displays it can make friends on a tripod and become a beautiful image for us together.
