Trust is a hard currency.

Few days ago my friend successfully made a transfer of about a million naira to another of my friend who he is not well acquainted with. Both of them; the payer and the recipient of the payment are my friends, but they are not friends to each other, they might have seen themselves on many occasions but the closeness wasn't just there.

On what premise then did my friend release such a huge amount of money to him? It's simple; because of me.

Here's the gist; the fellow who was given the money is a crypto specialist and a financial expert in every sense of the word. His WhatsApp status is a school of money.

The beautiful thing about him is that he doesn't only know how to trade, he understands the market. He has a way of testing the viability of any project. His predictions, so far has been only few inches short of perfection.

He manages to keep discovering profitable and authentic projects which he sells to his ever increasing tribe.

It was from him I learned that there is a token that yields more than 700% APR (annual percentage rate) when farmed.

I remember when I started posting on Proof of Brain Community, and thereby gathering Some POB tokens, I chatted him up concerning the token, thinking that he would know nothing about it, since he doesn't blog, I was greeted with a surprise, when he showed me proofs that he has traded with the token several times.

I had to ask him if there's a crypto project he isn't aware of.

Well, I wasn't about telling you of my friend's prowess. It just slipped in. I wanted to pen down some take home from that transaction.

First off, the money was given for the purchase and farming of tokens that would yield a high APR.

No one releases such a huge amount of money without having some level of trust for the person he is releasing the money to.

My friend who made the payment couldn't have done that solely because he trusts the person he is giving the money. How could he possibly trust someone he isn't really close to?

The trust is on me. I recommended the crypto guy to him.

Now, this guy has all the reason on earth to trust me, having known me for over ten years. I remember how he once introduced me to a deal that would've fetched me some good millions of naira within a short period of time, but I gracefully turned it down, because it didn't align with my personal moral code. Mind you, I desperately needed that money, but I painfully watched it go.

When he readily made that transaction without expressing any form of skepticism, it made me realize that this guy has a high level of trust on me.

There are people with the resources you need for startup, but they can't invest in you neither can they invest in a brand you are recommending because they find it difficult to trust your ability to manage resources.

From your daily interaction, people have already made their conclusion concerning you. How you are perceived would be the parameter they would use in allocating resources to you.

If you want people to commit their money to you, begin by showing sincerity in little things.

In our over ten years of knowing each other, if my friend had at any point noticed any form shadiness in me, there's no way he would taken my recommendation.

Trust is a hard currency, start building it today.

This is a really good one, I love the story behind the point your trying to make.

One million naira to someone he doesn't know very well because he trusts you? That's just amazing really.

I wonder what that good millions of naira within a short period of time means that you couldn't do it 🤔 but I guess it's all for the best.

I don't know how hard my trust currency is now but I hope to keep building with every person I associate with... It's never easy but worth trying.

Well done sir @mmykel 😃

Exactly, the payment was made solely on that ground.

I wonder what that good millions of naira within a short period of time means that you couldn't do it 🤔 but I guess it's all for the best.

I need money and terribly so. I can't even lie about that. But there things I'll never do for money.

I don't know how hard my trust currency is now but I hope to keep building with every person I associate with... It's never easy but worth trying.

Sure it's not. It's really worth trying. There are things that will never be committed to you until there's some level of trust.

Thanks for coming here @merit.ahama
