Tadpoles, mountains, lakes and bugs

Selection of images from a trip I took up towards Jasper, never quite got that far but found some interesting sites along the way.

This little puddle in front of a lake was home to a handful of tadpoles. I found it pretty neat as I had never seen any in person before. This one is just starting to spout its arms and legs.

Bow Lake Alberta, its among a few sites I can instantly remenember the name of, with so many mountains here sometimes its hard to peak them out but these peaks are pretty distinct.

This was a bit further north, I think near Saskatchewan crossing. Waters were really choppy as a storm was starting to roll in.
