Raphael

Raphael started playing football in high school, when he ran he seemed to float, he was fast and very smart, he was the school's top prospect, and he felt very confident of getting a college athletic scholarship.

But what Raphael had of sporting brilliance he had of arrogance, he was a despot in dealing with people, particularly with those he considered inferior to him.

In the last year the offers were pouring in, he could choose, he had that privilege. He evaluated which university he liked the most, and even talked about it with his friends, which aroused the envy of some of them.

He finally chose, and decided on the University of Southern Mississippi.

After his graduation, Raphael had a big celebration at home, not only for having reached that goal, but also to celebrate his farewell, since he would soon be leaving for college, he lived in California.

Raphael's parents were proud of their son, his father gave him a compact disc for his graduation, everything was happy at home.

Days went by, and it was time to accompany Raphael to college, when they were on their way, his dad suffered a heart attack, which caused the car to crash into a pole, his mom was seriously injured and Raphael had minor injuries.

Raphael's life changed in an instant, his whole world fell apart, in an instant he lost his greatest support and was about to lose also his most tender love: his mother.

After undergoing surgery, Raphael's mother was saved, and he was relieved that he was not alone in the world.

Fortunately he was able to postpone going to college for the next semester, and although he was still a great player, he no longer looked like he was floating when he played, he looked like an average player. He really seemed to struggle to perform in the game.

Raphael was different, his arrogant behavior had changed, the pain of loss made him mature, made him more human.

In the month of October it was his dad's birthday, he would be 50 years old, Raphael that day shined on the field, he dedicated the game to him as a gift, and again he was seen floating.
