I have not failed

This is my blue week,
Have you heard about this one?
Well, it's the continuation of Blue Monday,
one theory states that yesterday was the saddest day of the year,
but Monday is over and I'm still sad.

My mind keeps in mind the difficulties
I've been facing lately, battles that have not ended,
unfulfilled dreams and projects put on hold.

I feel listless,
I try to stay positive, but it's hard,
I smile half-heartedly to try to fool myself, I confess that I am not succeeding.

I look back, I see what I have achieved,
I know I have not failed,
it's just that this stage of my life is taking longer than I expected and than I would have liked.
