Super Power - I'll Use My Powers To Make Global Peace

Imagine you can choose a superpower, but you must choose only one so you have to do that carefully. What superpower will you choose? How will you make use of it? Any plans of doing something special?

Having the opportunity to be given a superpower isn't a bad thing, but the outcome of the power influencing your life is what matters a lot.

For a person to possess great power, the person must really be of one with good heart and spirit. Power changes people, it is hard for a person to have superpowers and still be the same. It is an almost impossible thing to see or experience.

Talking about power making influence and changing one's personality, it is very common in our society today and we all know we can testify to that, for we have heard and seen the effects it has made on people we know.

I'm not talking about superpower now, I'm talking about powers like political leadership and other powers attached to offices that when one is being assigned gets to rule over his subordinates in the office.

I know we can testify to what I'm saying know, even if you are having a doubt of what I am saying now, just think for a while, think of a person you know that is in a position that is higher than he/she was before, think and compare their character and personality of this two different times, see the way the interact, check if he/she still interacts with his old time pals before getting to this position higher than theirs.

You must have thought of it now and maybe you have gotten the point I'm trying to make or you are yet to get the point.

Now, let me tell you about a person who was given superpowers and how it changed him entirely.

You might have watched or heard about Megamind, this movie really showed us how it really is for one to possess power.

Take a look at Hal Stewart, the journalist who really loved his work and all he wanted to do was to be behind the camera of Roxanne Ritchi the journalist. But he turned wild, brutal and greedy when Megamind gave him superpowers to be the hero in Metro-City, but the power made and brought the worst side of him.

It is really now clear when Odin cursed the Mjolnir, and said "only he who is worthy, shall possess the power of Thor". It is clear that he didn't make a mistake because he knows what power can make and how it can influence a person and change his/her life.

Back to myself now……..

If I was to choose a superpower, what would it be? I'll choose the power of Dr. Manhattan, watching him use his power gives me chills and always thrill me.

How am I going to use this power you ask?

Sigh I'm really going to do a lot of exploits and save a lot of disasters and calamities that will come on mankind, I'll make life comfortable, very easy and flexible for mankind. With the ability to convert matter to any form, shape, size and colour you want.

Imagine being able to absorb the heat of nuclear weapons, to be almost everywhere whenever your assistance is needed or required.

And I'll use my powers to make global peace, and I myself would be a symbol of justice and peace.

But before I get this very power, I will really work on myself, and my thoughts. I'll also work on my love of things of pleasure, so I can administer and do justice whenever it is required of me.
