This year I wanted to celebrate my birthday by going to the theater. Of course, there is a drama theater in my city. In addition, various troupes come to us. But mostly these are enterprise or solo performances. I wanted to visit a real classical theater. I wanted to see some historical scene.

One friend of mine gave me two tickets to the Maly Theater. It's funny, the Maly Theater is located to the right of the Bolshoi Theater. That’s why the square is called the theater square.

We had two tickets for the first row, but due to being late we had to settle for row 9.
I want to say that the play is a little outdated, it’s almost 200 years old. But overall I liked the play and the acting.

Another friend gave me a night in a hotel in the center of the capital. Not bad, you say, and you’ll be right.
So, all I had to do was pay for the restaurant and invite my friends. But my cousin paid for the restaurant. Non-standard gifts. But let it be.

That day, the K-Pop festival was held on the boulevard. We could observe several dozen groups of different ages who, despite the cold of late spring, demonstrated their skills.

The next day we went to a new museum dedicated to the end of the Second World War. I was very impressed by the installations. We felt a sense of presence. The installation “Removal of Stolen Cultural Property by German Soldiers” looks especially impressive.

And we ended the weekend with a trip to the Belgian pub, where my cousin is in charge of the proceedings. He showed us the best qualities of the establishment. We got a wonderful tasting of Belgian beers and equally wonderful snacks.
Very interesting types and characters visit this establishment. I really enjoy sneaking peeks at visitors.
