Today is another blessed day to celebrate to be able to wake up and be with our families and friends. Yesterday was full of happiness and I am going to include the good news of being part of the second-place winners in the contest held by @ladiesofhive. I am sending my congratulations to our dear Grand winner @qwertychronicles and the rest of the ladies @blueeyes8960 @dora381 and @playfulfoodie cheers to us! We deserved it! Every week is thrilling as I can read challenging questions and read those job-well-done entries of other women. Below is my chosen question for this week that is wonderfully made by Miss @silversaver888. I do hope I can provide the best answer to make this contest more catchy and a life lesson.

Each of us has our own behavior on how we deal with people and to ourselves. We cannot deny the fact that there are times we are not in our good days to enjoy as we are affected with heartbreaks, problems, disappointments, or the feeling of uselessness in this world. I am a very sensitive woman who will easily get affected by hateful words. Now, in regards to my situation, if I will be asked if I rather stay alone or someone who can cheer me up then I will choose the second one. We humans have our own comfort on how we can work things out and some of us wanted to be alone and distance ourselves from others which I used to do before but I changed it. I am here to give awareness to everyone that if you are going to keep everything within you, there will be no chance for you to express what you feel and this causes anxiety and depression or lead to mental health which became common nowadays. I won't allow myself to be driven by my bad mood as it can create some unnecessary plans to commit something which is very unacceptable. In the back old days when I was so private and never shared anyone I'd been through ."Suicidal" came to my mind but luckily someone was uplifting me to be positive and enjoy life in a good way as so much more to thank for and breathing is one of that. By that scenario, it leads me to a concept that "I need a buddy to accompany me"


The man you can see in the photo next to me is my boyfriend in 5 years, fiance in 3 years, and 8 years together in total. Even though I don't have my mother that I used to talk to or family to run to but God sent me HIM. Our relationship is not perfect. We went to rocks many times and gladly we survived it and hoping to survive too in coming years. I am grateful for the moment we met as college students and we are now both Professional Teachers. It was really a long and great journey for the two of us. I am going to state below how I behave when I am in a bad mood.

• I don't make a fight with others but expect my voice is in a high tune. It was like a sentence full of exclamatory points!!!!!
• My face can't be pictured out as my eyebrows are about to cross each other and my lips are pouty.
• or If I am silent and do not talk even a single word this indicates that I am not in a good mood.

Now, what are the things he will do to cheer me up? Actually, there are so many but I am happy to share with you the best actions that he did when I am in the moment of losing my temper.

Since I am the type of person who is in the love of sea view or mountain view. He is inviting me to go there. If he can feel that I am now in the stage of having a bad mood. He offers me to come with him to feel the essence of fresh air, hear the ocean waves or watch the blue sky above. Since we are living in the province of Cebu, we are close to mountains and beautiful beaches around here. He knows exactly what to do. He will say " Let's go and witness the sunset, you'll regret it if you miss it." and I'll never say NO to that, and I will never get tired to experience those. I need calmness so bringing me up here will surely free my mind and give me peace.

Another good thing he will do is to let me ride on his longboard. I learned it from him by the way. I know it is not usual to see like us teachers do like this kind of stuff but we love discovering something new and learning from it. This gives me such relief every time I ride on it. I feel light and all the burdens I am carrying will be released. He told me that instead of spending my anger on something why not feel free to release that hatred through skating which I think is a really good idea to take.

There are many ways of surprising someone in order to cheer up their day. He is very generous in providing something that can definitely make me smile. Sometimes he is giving some sweet treats. That necklace with the letter "D" stands for my First Name serves as his peace offering to me. I cannot recall what was the exact reason why I was mad because it happened years ago but I can remember that he gave it to me to make peace. As I'd said we are not perfect so we experience troubles sometimes. So what he did, he gifted it to me and it made my day. I was just surprised about it since I am not fond of jewelry or gold thing. I accepted it and appreciated the effort he had done.

If other people wanted to travel to other countries or talk to other friends, we rather play our favorite games. It will be nicer if we have some pizza with us. There are times that he even learned to play cooking games with me just to cheer me up and I think he loved and enjoyed it. It's a good feeling when someone adjusts themselves for us and considers our differences.

This will be the last part. He never failed me to bring to a place where I can try a new menu or go back to my favorite restaurant to eat my favorite foods. Food is the second best thing to cheer me up since I am a food eater.

I am going to align this question to a quote of " NO MAN IS AN ISLAND". We need our parents to guide us and educate us in doing good things in life. We need our siblings to protect and support us. We need our friends to hear our thoughts and we need a Family to make us strong and be confident. This simply opens our eyes to the reality that we need people to people in our lives and these people are the good ones whose intentions are pure and goals are making us be a better version of ourselves. I may experience those bad memories I had when I was small but I am so blessed that I was put into a place and someone I can lean on. Someone who hears my stories. Someone who will consider my weakness and someone who still accepts me and save me at my worst. I may not have all the wealthy life nor was born in a silver spoon but I am proud to have him that completes who I am. Without him, my life won't be as meaningful as it is.
