A gift of Life: THE 55th EDITION of the LADIES OF HIVE COMMUNITY CONTEST
Every Sunday gives me excitement because @ladiesofhive will release a new set of questions for their weekly contest. As I promised myself that I should not miss a single one because I love what I am doing and I learned a lot of great stories from other women in this community. Today is the 1st day of the month of November and the 11th month of the year. Before the year 2021 ends, I am happy to share with all of you on what are the things that I favorited this time of the year. I picked the top 5 that mostly affected my journey in LIFE.
From the moment I open and close my eyes, I am always grateful for the gift of life. Among all, this is the most important. I am thankful for the foods that I can eat three times a day where others can't. I have a place that is called home to sleep in comfortably. I have good friends and family who are always there to guide and support me. Through the gift of life, I was able to see the beauty of nature such as mountains and oceans. I hear the beautiful sounds of birds chirping and the waves of the ocean. I can feel the softness of my cat's fur and handshake people I met and congratulated.
Life is so fun. Life is everything and Life is my power to live happily and that gift will be forever treasured in my heart and soul.
The obstacles that came into my life were not only giving me bad energies but it turned into something good. In what way? This year I experienced hardships in life and there is no open door for me to escape and neglect it because if I did, it will keep coming back and unsolved. I can see this year that I became a more mature and strong woman. I was able to embrace my imperfections and those imperfections help me to accept the whole me. I am thankful that this came and happened in my life because it taught me good life lessons. We are all tested in the time of consequences. It will test our limits and capacities. If there is a stoplight then there is a green light that indicates we can move forward and that's what I did.
My siblings are now in their good ages to have their respective families. Despite we are not living on the same roof but we don't let our connection cut.By saying Hi and Hello were enough for me to know how they miss me. My two sisters are working abroad the other two are with my father and I am here in the Southern part of the countryside. Even though we don't have our mother anymore but work things out. I am happy that we are still complete in the family and looking forward to Christmas to celebrate before the year ends.
Next is my second family. My fiance's parents are so kind and humble people. It's been 2 years now I am living in Dalaguete because I am actually from Cebu City. I learned a lot from this good family. They taught me how to stay simple despite all the success I have. It was 8 years ago I met his mother and my first impression was so wrong because I thought she's a strict mother or maybe she can compare me to other women from a city and from the countryside but my impression was wrong because it was the opposite of it. This year I am still blessed to be part of their lives because I will never run out of words of wisdom and good advice.
This time of the year I am thankful because we were able to celebrate our 8th year anniversary. 8 years relationship is already a long term for me. I am glad that he was always with me in times of my dark days. He never stops to motivate me that life is beautiful. He is a very understanding man when I feel so low at myself. It is a great feeling to have him who wanted me to put on the right pathway in life. He always thinks about my future. He is one of the best people I have had in my entire life. He witnessed all my struggles and lend his hands to let me stand up.Cheers Dear!🍷
I'd been to Hive for a year but just these past few months I became active in engaging people in the community. I would say that My favorite thing this time of the year is when I found the @ladiesofhive community. It took me a long time I did not figure out that there is a community open to all ladies. I could not recall how I ended up here but the most important is I am now part of this amazing community. Finally, I have the freedom of speech about my ideas and emotions that highlight women's empowerment. Before I will end this part, I would like to say THANK YOU to the following ladies who created this @ladiesofhive to make every single woman belongs.
@elizabethbit @saffisara @thekittygirl @brittandjosie @silversaver888 @kaerpediem @joanstewart @kerrislravenhill and for this 55th Contest questions made by @melinda010100.
I will definitely give lots of gifts to the children. Receiving gifts is so precious for them. Whether it is small or big but I'll assure you to see their big smiles on their faces as you can see in the photo. The extended help does not remain there but I want to give gifts with the following:
- Children who experienced domestic abuse.
- Children who are in the foster foundation never have the chance to see their real parents.
- Children who suffer cancer, or undergo chemotherapy.
- Children who are living along the roads and no home to be called.
- Children who have never experienced a Holiday like Christmas in their entire life.
I want each child to be happy and spoil them with toys, food, clothes, and more to let them feel that they are special and they are loved.
I never had any idea about the living of our great farmers until a destined time I moved here to Dalaguete, Philippines which is popularly known as THE VEGETABLE BASKET OF CEBU. My fiance's parents are sellers in the market with vegetables in the said place for decades and through them, I witnessed and heard their concerns. As you can see behind me there are no buildings or any establishments that you can easy to access. Who will not love this kind of scenery? I would like to donate Delivery trucks for them to use in exporting their goods. Farmers are carrying loads of baskets to drop the vegetables in the shopping area and it will take 1-2 hours of walking but with the help of this means of transportation then it can lessen their work. They deserve help because they are the main reason why we are eating healthy vegetables and fruits. We can buy cheaper from them compared to the displayed ones in the market. You can see how they put effort and hard work. Next, I want to create a water system there since they are having difficulties fetching water from the natural water source from the mountain.
My love for children is incomparable. As I mentioned before in my blog that I am a teacher for Secondary but I was destined to primary students way back in 2014 until this present. Living in the mountain is quite difficult for the students to learn. That's why I wanted to build a tower there for them to have an internet connection and they will be updated for Education system. They are always delayed in learning as they don't have enough resources.
I wanted it to be an Education for all that whatever students learned from the city can be learned in the far-flung mountain too. I wanted to donate school uniforms and school supplies and hopefully A nearer school for them so that they don't need to walk on a hot sunny day or get wet when it rains.
Other donations will go for the home of the agent (aged people), Health Services, Livelihood programs or workshops, and of course my family too.
IT'S NICE TO LEAVE IN THIS WORLD WHERE YOU LEFT KINDNESS TO THE NEEDY ONES, MONEY IS MONEY BUT BEING GENEROUS IS A GEM.
That's all for today. I hope you learned a lot from my post and let's be optimistic all the time to live peacefully and contentment. Thank you, ladies!
I would like to invite @goldigolds @jenesa @queenbella29 to make their entries. Love lots!❤️
You have done a generous job with one million dollar and I have it comes to you sooner than you expect.
Thank you for your wonderful words miss @ajorundon. I am happy you spent time reading my post. If that will be possible, I will definitely do what I mentioned here.
It's something that we should always be grateful for. I admire your answer with what you wanna do with a million dollars. So inspiring!
Thanks, sir @asasiklause. We can't experience great things or even meet people without having a chance to exist in this world. Let's count ourselves as lucky to see the real world and live with it.
Amen.🙏🙏🙏

I enjoyed reading your article especially having that bond with your siblings even after your mom's death. Also for the gift of life and congratulations on your 8th year anniversary too. May the love keep growing.
I can see the love you have for young generations and how you planned helping in your own way. I hope you can make this reality even without the one million dollar imagination 🤗🤗
Good day, pretty lady @princessbusayo it's nice to chat with you again. It was sad to accept the reality to lose an important person in our lives but because of that, I was reunited with my stepsister and it was my first time to meet her. I know there are wasted years we haven't bonded with the other siblings but God is good we are okay now.
That's great!
Generosity is an attribute that not everyone possesses, but with a good disposition it can be developed, it is enough to want to do things. I congratulate you for all that you have achieved and for all that you wish to do. 🤗
Exactly correct @antoniarhuiz. I totally agree with you. If the trait of being generous has good intentions and is wholeheartedly willing to give then that's going to be the best thing to do. It is so difficult for people are generous because they are forced or pretentious. Being honest or truthful to oneself is beyond incomparable.
Shocking recount @missdonna
. The work you do is wonderful. And just adapting from the city to the country is strong enough.
I'm glad your new family is understanding. Adapting to other customs and places takes a lot of internal work and putting aside personal ego.
I share with you the preparation for Christmas, these are unique moments.
Hi there @katleya. I adjusted a lot when I decided to live now in the countryside even though it is not the typical place that we can easily access whatever transactions we want but it gave me a fresh natural environment such as the ocean and mountain and it's far from noise and smoky place that produced by cars or factories.
Thank you for the invite @missdonna. I am excited to do my entry as well :)
Can't wait to read yours. Make sure to follow the rules stated in the @ladiesofhive. I think the submission will be before Saturday night ends. Go for it @queenbella29
You received 5 LADY(LOH) tokens for entering the Ladies of Hive contest.
Please note that since our LOH token is still so new, that it will be worth more if we HOLD them for a bit before trying to sell them. Some have been trying to sell them immediately after receiving them, but holding them for a bit will help them to increase in value! We are working behind-the-scenes to try to keep the price stable, but the "sell orders" are hampering the stabilization of the price of this new token. Please hold on to your tokens. Thank you! 🙂
So much detail about yourself with a good family and friends around you it's no wonder that you take on that very nature and attitude. If your first year of being a Hive member good, then expect the next year to be better. Best wishes for your success on Hive and good luck in this contest @missdonna too! ❤️
Yes, I am looking forward to the best and for sure it will happen because it seems like ladies here are enjoying and engaging as well. Let us all unite to empower women. I am glad you drop by here in my post. Nice to meet you @kerrislravenhill.

Oh, that's really sweet of you miss @melinda010100. Thank you for freeing yourself to spend reading my post. I am hoping that you enjoyed it. To more kind and generous ladies here in @ladiesofhive.
Hi, @missdonna!
I'm glad to know that you have the help of a person who has always been with you through thick and thin and that person is precisely your partner. Yes, as you say 8 years is quite a long time, but I hope it will be more for that love to last in time.
It is nice to know that you have the support of your partner's family. I have not been so lucky with that, but I still wish it will always be that way for you.
I hope you and your family can get together and celebrate your Christmas together.
By the way, I wish you could help the children and farmers in the village where you live. Very nice wishes.
Best regards.
