Nuevamente les presento un cover junto al profesor Daniel Centeno de la Cátedra de canto de la Fundación “Arte y Ópera”, @danieldedosd2 en la guitarra y en el cuatro el señor Alberto Figuera @muellero52, compañero en la cátedra. La nueva melodía que elegí para esta oportunidad es la canción “No volveré”, tema escrito por Manuel Esperón y Ernesto Cortázar. Esta canción se constituyó en una de las más famosas melodías de todas las que los autores escribieron. Está clasificada dentro del género ranchero y debuta en una época en la que este tipo de canciones eran de las preferidas dentro de la industria musical y cinematográfica.

Once again I present a cover together with professor Daniel Centeno from the Singing Chair of the "Arte y Opera" Foundation, @danieldedosd2 on Guitar and Mr. Alberto Figuera @muellero52 on Cuatro, mate in the Singing Chair. The new melody I chose for this opportunity is the song "No volveré", a song written by Manuel Esperón and Ernesto Cortázar. This song became one of the most famous melodies of all those written by the authors. It is classified within the Ranchero genre and debuts at a time when this type of song was one of the favorites in the music and film industry.

El primero en cantar esta hermosa melodía fue Pedro Infante en la película “El Inocente” y la canción tiene una carga emocional bastante fuerte, muy relacionada con la historia que se plantea en el metraje, esta desde mi punto de vista, refleja mucho dolor en su letra y en su composición musical, porque la situación sentimental planteada es que, aunque el amor está muy presente en la relación de los protagonistas, también lo está la necesidad del propio ser individual de cada uno, de su personalidad, de sus costumbres, su forma de vida y al final de esta historia lo que priva realmente es eso.

Como yo lo veo, esta canción es muy hermosa dentro de lo que representa, una ruptura amorosa, porque aunque el rompimiento de una pareja siempre es algo doloroso para ambas partes, quizás por diferentes razones para cada quien, a veces es lo mejor que se puede hacer para resolver una situación que se hace insostenible. Y el dolor que esto conlleva es ineludible; la pareja tiene que vivirlo, aunque no quiera, y en ese dolor hay cierto poder curativo y la experiencia que deja es invaluable para la vida futura de cada uno. Es por eso que muchas de las canciones más hermosas y famosas han sido escritas después de un quiebre amoroso de pareja, y esta es una de ellas. Espero que la disfruten tanto como yo disfruté interpretándola.

As I see it, this song is very beautiful within what it represents, a love breakup, because although the breakup of a couple is always painful for both parties, perhaps for different reasons for each one, sometimes it is the best thing to do to resolve a situation that becomes untenable. And the pain that this entails is inescapable; the couple has to live it, even if they don't want to, and in that pain there is a certain healing power and the experience it leaves is invaluable for the future life of each one. That is why many of the most beautiful and famous songs have been written after a breakup, and this is one of them. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed performing it.
