60 años no se cumplen todos los días | Celebración 🎉🥳 [ESP/ENG]

¡Hola mi gente linda de #hive! Y de Family&Friends Deseo que la esten pasando maravillosamente bien. Desde mi último post del año pasado no había escrito hasta hoy.

Así que comienzo con este post de celebración de los 60 años de mi hermano mayor John. No todos los días se cumple 60 años; su esposa (Cuñada), junto a sus hijos, se unieron para celebrarlo e invitaron a la familia y a sus amigos más cercanos.

Hello my beautiful people from #hive! And from Family&Friends I wish you are having a wonderful time. Since my last post last year I hadn't written until today.

So I start with this post celebrating my big brother John's 60th birthday. It's not every day you turn 60, his wife, along with his children, got together to celebrate and invited family and close friends.

John es mi hermano mayor de los tres, en su juventud casi no se le celebraba mucho pues él era militar, se casó joven, tuvo sus tres hijos estando en el ejército, después de estar año en servicio se retiró y se puso estudiar derecho y tuvo su cuarto hijo.

Tampoco yo pude estar en muchos cumpleaños de él, pues desde Ecuador me mudé con toda mi familia siendo muy joven a Venezuela, esa fue una de las razones porqué no he celebrado junto a él. Pero ahora que estoy otra vez en mi tierra, procuro compartir con mis dos hermanos y su familia más seguido.

Éste lunes 16 mi hermano mayor cumplió años y recibí una nota de voz de él invitándonos a su cumpleaños, pero no escuché bien la nota de voz, que la fiesta sería este fin de semana, así que con mi esposo salimos a comprar regalo, con lo difícil que a veces es comprar algo masculino.

John, is my oldest brother of the three, in his youth he was not celebrated much because he was in the military, he married young, had his three children while in the army, after a year in service he retired and began to study law and had his fourth child.

I could not be in many of his birthdays either, because from Ecuador I moved with all my family when I was very young to Venezuela, that was one of the reasons why I have not celebrated with him. But now that I am back in my homeland, I try to share with my two brothers and their family more often.

This Monday the 16th my older brother had his birthday and I received a voice note from him inviting us to his birthday, but I didn't hear the voice note well, the party would be this weekend, so with my husband we went out to buy a gift, with how difficult it is sometimes to buy something masculine.

Compramos, nos regresamos a casa, no hice cena, pues era lógico que allá comeríamos, eso era indiscutible, pero no fue asi, ya les digo el porqué. Nos arreglamos, bajamos los tres, tomamos un taxi y nos fuimos donde ellos.

Cuando llegamos mayor sorpresa, las luces de adentro de la casa apagadas, no había bulla por ningún lado, para esto mi esposo y mi hija me dicen: no crees que es raro, ¿escuchó bien la nota de voz? Me dice mi hija. A lo cuál respondí que sí. Pero en verdad que mientras escuchaba estaba haciendo otra cosa.

Total que escuché que hablaban adentro y llamé, mayor sorpresa de mi cuñada al vernos ahí, y nosotros por llegar sin haber escuchado bien la nota de voz, mi hermano no se encontraba en casa, después de un rato llegó.

We bought, we came home, I did not make dinner, because the logical thing is that we would eat there, that was indisputable, but it was not like that, I tell you why?we got ready, the three of us got out, we took a cab and we went to them.

When we arrived we were surprised, the lights inside the house were off, there was no noise anywhere, for this my husband and my daughter told me, do you think it is strange, did you hear the voice note well? My daughter said to me. To which I answered yes. But in truth, while I was listening I was doing something else.

I heard that they were talking inside and I called, to my sister-in-law's surprise when she saw us there, and us for arriving without having listened well to the voice note, my brother was not at home, after a while he arrived.

Lo bueno es que pudimos felicitarlo en su día, darle su regalo y compartir con ellos los dos un buen rato, y de aguantarme el chalequeo de todos ellos, por no escuchar bien la nota de voz. Y lo otro, pues no había comida, nos brindaron cola (refresco) y unas galletas. Y todos con hambre 😂. Nos regresamos a casa con el estómago vacío, por suerte había algo que quedó del almuerzo.

A todo esto, lo importante era compartir, pasar un rato agradable, ya cuándo uno tiene sus propias responsabilidades y familia, lo único que queda es aprovechar estos momentos, que no son todos los días, para pasar un rato y hablar un poco de aquí y de allá, como estamos y como nos sentimos.

Por fin llegó el día anunciado para reunirnos a celebrarlo, así que mi hija @sarybeth y yo nos fuimos a la fiesta. En esta ocasión mi esposo no fue pues se encontraba de viaje. Me alegré ver a mi hermano John muy contento, ya que ha venido pasando ultimamente dificultades con su salud. Después de todo se veía bien.

The good thing is that we were able to congratulate him on his day, give him his gift and share with them both a good time, and to put up with the chalequeo of all of them, for not hearing the voice note well. And the other thing, because there was no food, they gave us cola (soft drink) and some cookies. And we were all hungry. And we returned home with an empty stomach, but there was something left over from lunch.

All in all, the important thing was to share, to have a nice time, and when one has one's own responsibilities and family, the only thing left is to take advantage of these moments, which are not every day, to spend some time and talk a little about here and there, how we are and how we feel.

Finally the announced day arrived to get together to celebrate, so my daughter @sarybeth and I went to the party. This time my husband didn't go because he was traveling. I was happy to see my brother John very happy, as he has been having a hard time with his health lately. He looked good after all.

Entre ellos estaban varios compañeros militares de su juventud, otros compañeros de su trabajo actual que son abogados y parte de la familia. Lo bueno que pasamos un buen rato agradable con él y toda la familia, compartimos, tuvo bastantes regalos.

Tenía tiempo que no lo veía tan alegre a mi hermano. Lo interesante que todo salió muy bien y de la torta ni se diga, aunque no la probé pero me gustó su presentación, tenía fotos de diferentes etapas de su vida. La verdad que mi sobrina se lució mandando a realizar esa torta, se veía hermosa, la comida estaba super rica.

Among them were several military colleagues from his youth, other colleagues from his current job who are lawyers and part of the family. The good thing was that we had a good time with him and the whole family, we shared, he had a lot of gifts.

It had been a while since I had seen my brother so happy. The interesting thing is that everything went very well and the cake, although I didn't try it, I liked the presentation, it had pictures of different stages of his life. The truth is that my niece had a great time making that cake, it looked beautiful, the food was super tasty.

Me sentí super bien por estar junto a él, con mi cuñada y sus hijos, tomarnos varias fotos en familia a pesar de la poca luz en el lugar, pero lo importante es que estuvimos ahí y que pasamos un momento diferente y lo mejor que él lo va a recordar.

También pude saludar a mi Jonathan (mi sobrino), que cumplió año el 14 de este mismo mes, el mismo día que mi Eli, son fechas y momentos inolvidables. Me gustó mucho pasarlos con todos ellos y con mi otro hermano y parte de su familia.

I felt great to be with him, with my sister-in-law and her children, to take several family photos in spite of the low light at the site, but the important thing is that we were there, and that we spent a different moment and the best thing is that he will remember it.

I was also able to greet my Jonathan (my nephew), who had his birthday on the 14th of this month, together on the same day as my Eli, these are unforgettable dates and moments. I really enjoyed spending them with all of them and with my other brother and part of his family.
