Meet Chaser, my curious 65 mph couch potato

💡 Chaser is my second dog. Sadly his big brother lost his fight against cancer in January. He was the best big brother Chaser could have wished for. I'll make another post about Bonzer in a few days...
We had a "holiday dog" for two weeks because our friends were on their honeymoon and so we looked after their dog. In this time we saw how happy Bonzer was with a second dog. So we looked after a dog for "him" 🤣
This time we wanted a "real" Spanish greyhound.
We had a few problems in the beginning, but then we got an offer for him. He wasn't 100% what we wanted, because I dreamed of one like Bonzer (black and white). But fate won and so we got this little beige one 😁 and he is really perfect for us.
He nearly never slept. (OK he did, but it felt like he wouldn't 🙈) From day one it felt like he had always been there.
As I said, he is a Spanish greyhound and they are treated really badly in Spain.
We had luck he was still a baby when we got him. So he hadn't experienced all of it. The only thing we know is, that he is really afraid of people with bald heads. He gets REALLY aggressive when he sees someone like that.
Otherwise he is the friendliest dog I know.
He is always happy and loves everyone and everything.
(a squeaky stuffed dragon).
💡 If you want to know more about Spanish greyhounds and what is so bad about their lives in Spain, let me know and I'll make a post about it.
He loves everything that is fun: running, romping, digging for mice, looking for deer, wild boars, rabbits and other forest animals.
When he is at home he loves lying in the sun and being roasted or spending the whole day in bed. (He is a real 65 mph couch potato.) He only gets up to eat or drink something, or when he tries to steal something from our food 🤣
But that is exactly why we love him so 😍
💡 Since it never gets boring with him, there will be a post about him every now and then 😉
❓❓❓ Question ❓❓❓ Do you have dogs? And if yes, how many?
Welcome to the community chaser! I don't have dogs for now but would love to. At the moment, I am only accepting "freelance cats" a.k.a stray cats that comes to my house and I am feeding them 😄
Thank you 🙂
I grow up with dogs and cats, but I always loved the dogs more 😁
It needed 10 years to persuade my hubby, that we will adopt a dog. But now he also can't live without... 😎
😄 yeah, I find dogs to be more pleasant, active, and attentive. It's hard to find a not so lazy cat. Can't wait to have mine, it's just sad I live in a place where I can't have dog as a pet.
Oh, Chaser is VERY lazy 😂 Except for our walkies, he only sleeps in my bed 🙈 But OK, we do many walkies, so he is very tired when we are at home...
