Outstanding Minimalists Blogs in no particular order.

Straining family relationships by @abisag

My cousin is a maximalist even when it comes to talking, she doesn't finish talking about one topic when she starts with another and even though I try to take a deep breath and be patient I end up getting exhausted just listening to her, she even makes me hot. It is incredible how it has a negative impact on my head.

It's the best, but it has limits. by @purpleglitter

I continue to learn how important it is to respect the boundaries of others. A practice (any practice), like minimalism, can be one of the best things in life, it fills you up, makes you feel free, simplifies your mind, you get to understand and live the essence of life, and so many other good things, however, maybe for someone else it is not possible to see it that way, it is not their way of thinking or it is not logical, that is their limit and right.

My friend believes paying more guarantees more quality—a reverse of my lifestyle. by @jjmusa2004

I grew up as a mama's boy—handbag maybe? I follow her everywhere, including the market, and I often get to pity the trader when my mom picks up fresh bargaining after a seemingly ridiculous initial bargain. Today, I'm grateful that I'm a near-perfect minimalist in my spending, preferably comparing prices and quality before making any decision.

Clothing Chaos: Is It Really Necessaryby @zeegirl

As much as I revel in the joy of acquiring new clothes, the delightful dance of fabrics adding hues to my wardrobe, there's a part of me that craves simplicity. Venturing into my friend's abode is like stepping into a world of endless garments – a captivating yet somewhat exhausting journey. She can't help but complain about the number of clothes she has hanging around her wardrobe, but still, the funny part is that she can't get over the obsession of always buying new clothes. To me most times that's funny and always throws me off balance.

"We're friends, but put that over there..." by @aaalviarez

I find very interesting, beautiful and tasteful things in places like this that I could even use in my own home. Listening to them and understanding them makes me appreciate how good it is that as human beings we have a variety of thinking. It allows me to get to know the family better and have more topics to talk about. I have usually spent more than one day in those homes.

An Encounter With A Maximalist. by @amiegeoffrey

A friend for over five years now, and if there's anything I love about her is the fact that she is very industrious and loves to own her items without depending on others or begging to use other people's items.
However, the many times I've gone shopping with her, I noticed how she bought so many items on impulse, maybe because she felt "more is more," and it's better to have in abundance than to be lacking.

What's freedom? by @honeydue

For a long time in my life, I thought freedom was this great big thing. But no. Freedom, like us, is transient. Fluid. It changes as we do, and no, I don't mean its definition. Freedom can be in looking up at the open sky, but also in buying yourself a nice treat. It can be planting flowers for the spring, and smelling linen fresh out of the wash. Freedom isn't any one thing, rather, it's in everything.
It's in me.
I'm free, but also,
I'm freedom.

You Have Too Many Things by @trucklife-family

I generally, don't feel I should be telling people how they should live.
I rather just live my life and share some of my experiences. Especially when it comes to what people bring into their homes, like cleaning products, for their homes and their bodies.
I can share my opinions with others, but I don't believe it's necessary to come across like I live a better life than them. That sort of attitude doesn't help anyone.

My indoor summer garden by @ladyrebecca

In the past year I’ve bought quite a number of plants and most of them did well. Except for some gorgeous orchids I was very proud of, until I had the stupid idea to spray some mosquito repellent in their general direction. Seeing them wither and die was heartbreaking.

I did the opposite of minimalism and now I'm paying for it.by @consciouscat

I sit here on the couch having done the bare minimum number of steps between the bed, the bathroom, the kitchen and the couch in order to help my body recover from the worst flu I have had in, probably, more than a decade.
I take this experience as my body saying:
I told you it was too much doing. I told you that you'd need to rest and integrate and work through the stuff that came up as it came up. And now you have to do it all in one big intense physical experience because you didn't listen to me.

Some tips

🔸 The community encourages authors to engage and build rapport with other team members by leaving meaningful comments.

🔸 If possible we recommend that authors try to use personal photos, however, if free images from the internet are used, please be sure to cite all relevant sources for photos and text.

🔸 Just a reminder that the weekly #KISS Blog Ideas is presented with ideas on topics to write about and to help you to structure your blogs, they are not meant to be questionnaires for you to list information and publish.

🔸 The presentation of your blog goes a long way and sharing aspects of your lives and your personal stories and experiences should be a lot more than a list that can be found in various places over the web.

🔸 You do not need to wait or only blog in response to the prompts provided. You're free to share any aspect of your minimalist lifestyle at any time.

Thank you for checking out the #MoreOrLessTheBest Curation Compilation presented by The Minimalist. This is the new official community account, where the weekly #KISS Blog Ideas and all community events and activities will be published.
I invite you all to get involved and share your stories about minimalism, and perhaps you would like to invite someone.
