Día de piscina🏊 || Swimming pool day🏊 [Esp-Eng]

Hola queridos Hivers, los días están pasando muy rápido o
¿es solo una sensación mía? bueno, hace unas semanas abrieron de nuevo la piscina del conjunto donde vivimos, estuvo cerrada más de una año por el covid y por unas reparaciones que debía hacerle antes de volver a darle uso.

Well, a few weeks ago they reopened the pool of the complex where we live, it was closed for more than a year because of the covid and some repairs that had to be done before we could use it again.

En el conjunto residencial donde vivimos hay mas de 20 edificios de 5 pisos cada uno, muchas personas y sobre todo niños viven aquí y como les conté en algunos post anteriores no contamos con mucho espacio recreacional para los niños, así que la reapertura de la piscina ha sido de mucho agrado tanto para adultos como niños pues ahora tienen un lugar donde pueden compartir, jugar y a la vez refrescarse en estos días tan calurosos.

In the residential complex where we live there are more than 20 buildings of 5 floors each, many people and especially children live here and as I told you in some previous posts we do not have much recreational space for children, so the reopening of the pool has been of much pleasure for both adults and children because now they have a place where they can share, play and at the same time cool off in these hot days.

El uso de la piscina se hace de martes a domingo, en tres horarios diferentes a partir de las 10 am hasta las 5 pm, se entra a esta por grupos de máximo 20 personas entre niños y adultos ya que hay dos piscinas y con una duración de dos horas cada grupo, así al menos 60 personas pueden disfrutar de este espacio cada día, además cada persona puede hacer uso de la misma solo dos veces por semana, para tratar que la mayoría pueda acceder a esta, lo que me parece un buen manejo de este espacio, los días lunes realizan el respectivo mantenimiento y los miércoles por la noche a partir de la 5 pm hasta las 9 pm le dan uso solo los adultos. Bueno esas fueron las reglas básicas del uso de nuestra piscina.

Ahora viene la parte divertida Cuando fuimos a bañarnos, el domingo llevé a los niños a refrescarse un poco y a divertirse en la piscina (nos anotamos un día antes) fuimos de 3 a 5 pm y aunque parece poco créanme después de una hora y media uno siente el tiempo eterno (los adultos) y los niños felices deseando que el tiempo no acabe nunca.🤣🤣

The use of the pool is from Tuesday to Sunday, in three different schedules from 10 am to 5 pm, you enter this by groups of maximum 20 people between children and adults as there are two pools and with a duration of two hours each group, so at least 60 people can enjoy this space every day, In addition, each person can use it only twice a week, to try that the majority can access this, which seems to me a good management of this space, on Mondays they perform the respective maintenance and on Wednesday nights from 5 pm until 9 pm only adults use it. Well those were the basic rules for the use of our pool.

Now comes the fun part When we went swimming, on Sunday I took the kids to cool off a bit and have fun in the pool (we signed up a day before) we went from 3 to 5 pm and although it seems little believe me after an hour and a half you feel the time eternal (the adults) and the kids happy wishing the time would never end.🤣🤣

Antes de que abrieran la piscina aquí en el conjunto, solía llevar a los niños a un parque acuático que esta en la cuidad o a veces a un club que esta cercano a la zona donde vivimos, donde pasábamos más de 5 horas y era divertido porque teníamos un día diferente, comíamos fuera de casa y los niños se divertían pero en esos lugares no iba tanta gente como uno espera, en algunas ocasiones éramos los únicos en el club, por lo que los niños terminaban aburridos y cansados después de tres horas.

Esta es la tercera vez que los llevo a la piscina acá y veo una gran diferencia en sus caras cada vez que bajamos, van felices porque saben que se encontraran con algún niño que ya conocen y podrán jugar y si no conocen a ninguno que esté seguramente se hacen algún nuevo amigo, desde que llegan hasta que se van no salen del agua y puedo notar como se desenvuelven cada vez con más seguridad, tanto en el agua como con los demás niños.

Before they opened the pool here in the complex, I used to take the kids to a water park that is in the city or sometimes to a club that is close to the area where we live, where we spent more than 5 hours and it was fun because we had a different day, we ate out and the kids had fun but in those places there were not as many people as you would expect, sometimes we were the only ones in the club, so the kids ended up bored and tired after three hours.

This is the third time I take them to the pool here and I see a big difference in their faces every time we go down, they are happy because they know they will meet a child they already know and they can play and if they don't know anyone they will surely make a new friend, from the moment they arrive until they leave they don't leave the water and I can see how they are getting more and more confident, both in the water and with the other children.

Diego se relaciona con chicos incluso mayores que él y hacen competencias de nado, Gabriel por su parte se mete en su flotador y anda por toda la piscina sin temor aún cuando sabe que es bastante hondo para él, incluso se lanza si lo estamos supervisando y Derek aún siente un poco de temor pero juega sin problema desde la orilla y cada vez se va desenvolviendo con más seguridad.

Es importante para mí que mis hijos no le teman al agua,(ni en piscina y menos al mar) ya que yo se nadar perfectamente y quiero poder ir con ellos en un futuro a las playas de mi país y nadar en el océano como lo hacía cuando estaba adolescente, que saltaba desde la lancha en medio de la nada y disfrutaba de esa sensación de paz inexplicable. Por eso en un futuro no lejano los llevare a una escuela de natación para que aprendan a nadar correctamente, pero vamos por buen camino y es no temerle al agua.

Diego interacts with boys even older than him and they have swimming competitions, Gabriel gets into his float and walks around the pool without fear even though he knows it is quite deep for him, he even jumps in if we are supervising him and Derek is still a little afraid but he plays without any problem from the shore and he is becoming more and more confident.

It is important for me that my children are not afraid of water (neither in the pool nor in the sea) because I know how to swim perfectly and I want to be able to go with them in the future to the beaches of my country and swim in the ocean as I did when I was a teenager, jumping from the boat in the middle of nowhere and enjoying that feeling of inexplicable peace. So in the not too distant future I will take them to a swimming school to learn how to swim properly, but we are on the right track and that is not to be afraid of the water.

Claro, este sueño mío de estar con ellos en el océano algún día solo se hará realidad si ellos también lo desean, nada será obligado. Mientras tanto disfruto verlos felices en el agua y compartiendo con otros niños de su edad, ahora este es su entretenimiento favorito y yo trataré de complacerlos más seguido porque me gusta verlos felices. Of course, this dream of mine to be with them in the ocean someday will only come true if they want it too, nothing will be forced. In the meantime I enjoy seeing them happy in the water and sharing with other kids their age, this is now their favorite entertainment and I will try to please them more often because I like to see them happy.
