IN 2022,I WANT TO BE MY OWN BOSS (#63 LADIES OF HIVE CONTEST)

• What are your goals that you want to achieve in 2022?

Hello beautiful ladies. It feels awesome to be able to take part in this week's contest on this platform.

Here is my answer to the first question.

I have never really pictured me to be one who works under another. Guess this is because I like to create things and have my private time in between and do things I love.With two corporate job experience in the past years,trust me when I say they were drilling and unfulfilling. So in year 2022,I would prefer to be my own boss.

I thought I had seen and had it all in 2020 but 2021 turned out worse. Truth be told,this year has thrown so many blows but I am grateful to my creator for life,family,friends and the ability to achieve all I have this year even though it still didn't match up to what I really had planned out.

Sometimes last year,after I lost my last job,I took the bold step to learn a skill and that is Millinery. I thought in my head "just start something somewhere" but down the line,while on training,I thought "are you sure you took the right step?". I was deeply confused and discouraged. In my state of confusion, I hung around my teacher by still going to the shop on certain days just to learn and understand the skill better.
Presently,I do not regret any step I took concerning Millinery at all. I am no longer confused and discouraged as I now know the basics,how to navigate my way through the millinery world and be able to produce a beautiful outcome.

Millinery was the first primary achievement on my list for last year and I was on it till this year and I am glad I know my onions. I have people patronize me and it gives me even greater joy when they are satisfied with what I create for them.

For 2022,I am looking forward to learning how to sew. Sincerely,I have procrastinated this plan for about 3/4 years now. I have been so afraid because I tried to learn a bit while serving my Fatherland as a Corp member and it seemed not to get into my head,hahahaha..but I have decided to be intentional about executing this plan for next year and not even see it as hard anymore. I just love fashion and pushing this plan aside every time won't help. This I know.

Also in 2022, I would like to know all there is to Crypto. Already a friend is schooling me but with his busy schedule and mine,it's been difficult for us to meet for the classes. Anyways, we have been making progress in bits. So I will be intentional about this next year.

I also would love to acquire some short professional courses knowledge mainly to expand my intellectuals. I would also love to go for my Masters Programme but where I can't next year,I will shift it to 2023 and focus rather on my sewing.

Lastly,I intend to post more on Hive and really follow up and get even more involved in weekly contest of different communities. Posting the most days of the week and following more people to learn from would even be greater fun.

Therefore in 2022,I hope to achieve all of this and even more.

• Would you trade 10 years of your life for wealth and fame?

My life has not been a smooth ride. Well I don't think anyone's is. But I am so proud of my baby steps because some have yield fruits.

All that I have experienced in life has helped shaped mg memory and those beautiful,ugly memory I can't trade for anything.
The thing with wealth and fame is that they are material things that can easily fade and then one would realize how empty one is. I am one who treasures family and relationships,because at the end of it all,they are all you have got. All that I can achieve in 10 years can also include same wealth and fame,so why would I want to do some trading? So noooooooooo I won't trade 10 years of my life for wealth and fame.
