Pie de limón [ESP/ENG]

Happy and blessed start to the week, my beautiful people from Foodies Bee Hive. I hope to God you are having a great Monday. Today I will teach you how to prepare an exquisite dessert😋 I hope you like it💚

Para esta receta, serán necesarios los siguientes ingredientes:
1 tubo de galletas María
1/2 taza de margarina derretida
1 Lata de leche condensada
1/2 taza de jugo de limón
4 huevos (para el relleno)
4 claras de huevos (para el merengue)
3/4 taza de azúcar

For this recipe, the following ingredients will be needed:
1 tube of Maria cookies
1/2 cup of melted margarine
1 can of condensed milk
1/2 cup of lemon juice
4 eggs (for the filling)
4 egg whites (for the meringue)
3/4 cup of sugar

Preparación/Preparation:

1- En un recipiente, mezclar las galletas previamente molidas con la margarina derretida y presionar esta mezcla en el fondo del molde del pie para hacer la primera capa.

1- In a container, mix the previously ground cookies with the melted margarine and press this mixture into the bottom of the foot mold to make the first layer.

2- Llevar al horno precalentado a 350°F (180°C) durante 15 minutos.

2- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 15 minutes.

3- Retirar del horno y dejar enfriar.

3- Remove from the oven and let cool.

4- Agregar la leche condensada, las yemas y el jugo de limón en la licuadora y batir.

4- Add the condensed milk, the yolks and the lemon juice in the blender and beat.

5- Verter la mezcla sobre la corteza de galletas y regresar al horno por 15 minutos más. Seguidamente, retirar del horno y dejar enfriar.

5- Pour the mixture over the cookie crust and return to the oven for 15 more minutes. Then remove from the oven and let cool.

6- En un bowl, batir las claras de los huevos hasta que estén bien espumosas, agregar gradualmente el azúcar y seguir batiendo hasta que esté a punto de nieve.

6- In a bowl, beat the egg whites until they are foamy, gradually add the sugar and continue beating until stiff.

7- Distribuir el merengue encima del pie con la ayuda de una cuchara, y formar picos con ésta para decorar.

7- Distribute the meringue on top of the foot with the help of a spoon, and form peaks with it to decorate.

8- Regresar al horno hasta que se dore ligeramente el merengue.

8- Return to the oven until the meringue is lightly browned.

9- Retirar del horno, dejar reposar y refrigerar.

9- Remove from the oven, let stand and refrigerate.
