Hoy Día Internacional de la Felicidad les deseo a todos los amigos de Hive que sean eternamente felices y para celebrarlo compartiré con ustedes cómo hice mi almuerzo de ayer y lo mejor de todo es dónde lo disfrute. Me encanta el contacto con la naturaleza, adoro la tranquilidad y la paz interior que siento cuando voy a la playa o al río y esto para mí es la felicidad, bueno sí me fui a pasar el día al río y allí degusté mi sabroso almuerzo.

Today International Day of Happiness I wish all Hive friends to be eternally happy and to celebrate it I will share with you how I did my lunch yesterday and the best of all is where I enjoyed it. I love the contact with nature, I love the tranquility and inner peace I feel when I go to the beach or to the river and this for me is happiness, well yes I went to spend the day at the river and there I tasted my tasty lunch.

Les cuento que sorpresivamete me invitaron para el río y lo más rápido que podía preparar era una rica raya guisada, aproveché que hacía dos días había comprado un pedazo de este pescado y aunque estaba en la nevera congelado ya lo había sancochado y desmenuzado. Así que con mucho amor aquí les comparto esta sencilla receta.

I was invited to the river and the quickest thing I could prepare was a delicious stewed skate, I took advantage of the fact that two days ago I had bought a piece of this fish and although it was in the fridge frozen, I had already parboiled it and shredded it. So with much love here I share with you this simple recipe.

  • 2 cebollas
  • Cebollín
  • 6 ajíes dulces
  • Cilantro, perejíl y culantro
  • 5 dientes de ajo
  • 1 cucharada de azúcar
  • Orégano, sal y pimienta al gusto
  • 800 gr. of fresh skate
  • 2 onions
  • Chives
  • 6 sweet peppers
  • Cilantro, parsley and cilantro
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar

Lo primero que hice cuando compré el pescado fue picarlo en trozos y lavarlo muy bien.

Luego lo puse a sancochar en una olla con suficiente agua durante 20 minutos, transcurrido ese tiempo le boté el agua y esperé que se enfriara para desmenuzar. Cuando lo desmenuzo primero me gusta limpiarlo quitándole la piel y también le retiro los huesos o cartílagos propios de este pescado.

Then I put it to boil in a pot with enough water for 20 minutes, after that time I threw away the water and waited for it to cool down to shred it. When I shred it first I like to clean it by removing the skin and I also remove the bones or cartilage typical of this fish.

Como les comenté el pescado ya lo había desmenuzado dos días antes y lo tenía reservado en el refrigerador. Entonces procedí a picar en cubos pequeños los aliños (cebollas, ajíes dulces, culantro, cebollín y cilantro), para luego sofreírlos en una paila con un poco de aceite.

As I mentioned, I had already shredded the fish two days before and had it reserved in the refrigerator. Then I proceeded to chop into small cubes the seasonings (onions, sweet peppers, coriander, chives and cilantro), and then fry them in a pan with a little oil.

Ahora al sofrito le agregé ajo, pimienta, orégano y sal. Removí y esperé aproximadamente 10 minutos para que se concentraran los sabores.

Y como buena oriental me encanta agregarle un punto de azúcar a este guiso, movemos nuevamente, lo puse a fuego lento y le coloqué una tapa, esperé 15 minutos y luego de ese lapso de tiempo estará lista nuestra raya guisada. Finalmente le agregué perejíl picado.
