Aguas termales de la Musui 🏞️// Musui thermal waters 🏞️

Hoy en otro capitulo de las aventuras de Génesis en Mérida 😂 les traigo lo que considero uno de los lugares más espectaculares que he tenido el placer de conocer. Se trata de las Aguas Termales de la Musui ✨, otro paraíso que nos ofrece Mérida.

Today in another chapter of the adventures of Genesis in Merida 😂 I bring you what I consider one of the most spectacular places I have had the pleasure of knowing. It is the Musui thermal waters ✨, another paradise that Merida offers us.

Pensándolo bien este fue una de las caminatas más tranquilas que tuvimos en Mérida y eso que caminamos por la orilla de un barranco 😂, pero en términos de camino no fue muy demandante aunque también hubo metida de pata 🥴

El día estaba perfecto, la verdad que el sol estaba a nuestro favor e hizo que el día se viera lindo. Llegamos a la entrada del parque donde dejamos el autobús y de allí empezamos a caminar. El pronóstico era llegar en una hora máximo, caminando a un paso tranquilo y tomando descansos para quien lo necesitara. Lo cierto es que si hacía frío del que no estábamos acostumbrados pero nada que no se soportara.

Thinking about it this was one of the quietest hikes we had in Merida and we walked along the edge of a ravine 😂, but in terms of walking it was not very demanding although there were also some screw ups 🥴.

The day was perfect, the truth is that the sun was in our favor and made the day look nice. We arrived at the entrance of the park where we left the bus and from there we started walking. The forecast was to arrive in an hour maximum, walking at a leisurely pace and taking breaks for those who needed them. The truth is that it was cold, which we were not used to, but nothing we couldn't stand.

El camino era tan lindo, se veían todas las montañas súper características de Mérida, algunas casitas del pueblo, y solo se respiraba aire puro y limpio, una maravilla sin duda. Yo como siempre documentando todo, ahí podemos ver incluso a @eldiariodelys viendo las fotos que había tomado con su cámara 😂. La verdad si había que tener cuidado de no tropezar porque el camino era muy angosto y si te podías caer por el barranco ya que no tenías ningún tipo de seguridad. A medida que ibas avanzando veías más cartelitos que decían por dónde era el camino hacia las aguas y habían espacios para hacer picnics y tomar descansos.

Cuando íbamos subiendo a lo lo lejos de veía el último glaciar que queda en Venezuela, el cual también está a punto de derretirse 🥺

Luego de casi una hora o 45 minutos subiendo y luego bajar unas escaleras, por fin llegamos a las ✨Aguas Termales ✨. Fuimos el primero grupo en llegar en el día así que estaban solitas para nosotros, parecían salidas de una revista, su agua Limpia, calientita a veces hasta salía el vapor jajajaja, tenía unas mini cascadas donde por alguna razón el agua salía mucho más caliente, a veces hasta que quemaba.

The road was so beautiful, you could see all the super characteristic mountains of Merida, some little houses of the town, and you could just breathe pure and clean air, a wonder without a doubt. Me as always documenting everything, there we can even see @eldiariodelys looking at the pictures he had taken with his camera 😂. The truth if you had to be careful not to trip because the road was very narrow and if you could fall down the ravine as you had no security. As you progressed you saw more signs telling you where the path to the water was and there were places to have picnics and take breaks.

After almost an hour or 45 minutes going up and then down some stairs, we finally arrived at the ✨Hot Springs ✨. We were the first group to arrive in the day so they were all alone for us, they looked like out of a magazine, its water was clean, hot, sometimes even steam came out hahahaha, it had some mini waterfalls where for some reason the water came out much hotter, sometimes even burning.

Empezamos a ponernos cómodos en algún sitio para poder empezar el día, luego de tomar fotos en todos los ángulos, fotos grupales, en familia, como modelos, en fin muchas fotos jajajja, después de eso ya era hora de entrar al agua. Era increíblemente sabrosa, muy calentita, el agua estaba perfecta para realizar termo terapia, eso sí, una vez dentro si salias el frío era horrible asi que por mas de tres horas estuvimos dentro del agua sin sacar ni un dedo.

Los chorro que caían de las minis cascadas funcionaban como unos masajeadores, por eso digo que sería increíble hacer termoterapia alli. Era onda en algunos lugares como cualquiera rio o pozo y las piedras había que tenerle cuidado porque algunas estaban babosas, como todo habia que tenerle precaución.

We started to get comfortable somewhere to start the day, after taking pictures in all angles, group photos, family photos, as models, in short many photos hahahaha, after that it was time to get into the water. It was incredibly tasty, very warm, the water was perfect for thermo therapy, but once inside, if you got out, the cold was horrible, so for more than three hours we were in the water without taking a finger out.

The jets that fell from the mini waterfalls worked like massagers, that's why I say that it would be amazing to do thermotherapy there. It was cool in some places like any river or well and the stones had to be careful because some were slimy, like everything else you had to be careful.

Después de unas cuantas horas allí disfrutando decidimos que era hora de comer, así que por fin salimos (y vaya frío que hacía) y nos cambiamos para ir hasta un lugar que habíamos visto más arriba para hacer el picnic y poder almorzar, q parte también habían llegado más grupos de personas a visitar los pozos así que ya era hora de salir y dejarlos a ellos.

Acá es donde ocurrió una de los momentos con más adrenalina y dónde verdaderamente temimos por nuestra vida en el viaje. Luego de comer y quedar satisfechos todos nos quedamos un rato sentados o acostados en la grama para poder descansar para luego continuar el camino para irnos, de repente vimos un caballo muy hermoso desde lejos caminando hacia acá, hasta que empezó a acelerar el paso justo a donde estábamos nosotros.... Y si, el momento de tensión y pánico fue cunado el caballo casi ataca a uno de los chicos que estaban con nosotros, el chico quedó debajo del caballo casi que ni respirando para que esté no le hiciera nada mientras que su esposa solo estaba acostada asustada y riéndose y yo, bueno, tomando fotos del momento 😂😂.

Resulta que el caballo era ladrón y no era a la primera persona que atacaba, nos contaron que días anteriores el caballo le había robado una bolsa de bananas/cambures a una señora y que después se andaba ahogando con la bolsa y tuvieron que ayudarlo, pero hablando enserio, si tuvimos miedo y pudo hacer Sido muy peligroso 🥴.

After a few hours there enjoying ourselves we decided it was time to eat, so we finally got out (and it was cold) and changed to go to a place we had seen above to make a picnic and have lunch, q part had also arrived more groups of people to visit the wells so it was time to go out and leave them to them.

This is where one of the most adrenaline-filled moments occurred and where we truly feared for our lives on the trip. After eating and being satisfied we all stayed a while sitting or lying on the grass to rest and then continue on our way to leave, suddenly we saw a very beautiful horse from afar walking towards us, until it began to accelerate the pace right where we were .... And yes, the moment of tension and panic was when the horse almost attacked one of the guys that were with us, the guy stayed under the horse almost not breathing so that it wouldn't do anything to him while his wife was just lying down scared and laughing and me, well, taking pictures of the moment 😂😂.

It turns out that the horse was a thief and it wasn't the first person he attacked, we were told that days before the horse had stolen a bag of bananas/cambures from a lady and then he was choking with the bag and they had to help him, but seriously, we were scared and he could have been very dangerous 🥴.

Comenzamos nuestro rumbo hacia la salida, allí me dispuse solo a admirar la vista y a caminar con mucha precaución. Una vez llegamos al autobús empezamos nuestro rumbo a otros lugares. Cómo el pueblo de Tabay que sin duda es uno de mis favoritos, es un pueblito cerca de la ciudad, pero con ese toque victoriano, allí estuvimos un rato en un restaurant disfrutando de las cosas lindas que tenía Tabay, como la Plaza Bolívar, la iglesia del pueblo, un mercado artesanal y tienditas de comida. También pasamos por el "Monumento Perro Nevado" un monumento en honor al perro de Simón Bolívar.

Después de un día tan agotador terminamos llegando a la casa algo agotados, pero preparando todo pata la aventura del día siguiente. Espero les haya gustado este lugar tanto como a mi nos vemos en un proximo post bye ❤️

We started our way to the exit, there I just admired the view and walked very cautiously. Once we arrived at the bus we started our way to other places. How the town of Tabay is undoubtedly one of my favorites, it is a small town near the city, but with that Victorian touch, there we spent some time in a restaurant enjoying the beautiful things that Tabay had, as the Bolivar Square, the town church, a craft market and little food shops. We also passed by the "Monumento Perro Nevado" a monument in honor of Simon Bolivar's dog.

After such an exhausting day we ended up arriving home a bit exhausted, but preparing everything for the next day's adventure. I hope you liked this place as much as I did, see you in a next post bye ❤️
