Hi recently I discovered that I can participate in two events a week, so today I post my first work in the Social Media event, in this event I will post arts more simple and relaxed, and the more laborious in the Splinterlands Art event. today I chose the Spirit Hoarder he is a cutie 😍, all work was done with colored pencils.

Materials

• Colored pencils
• Papel 220 g/m²
• Pencil 4B
• Pencil 6B
• Kneaded Eraser
• Blue Pen

Drawing Process

I always like to start by making a complete sketch of the drawing before I start painting, it is good because it gives me a vision of how the drawing will look like, I had no difficulty sketching the Spirit Hoarder 😃

Now I start coloring the sketch, I love this part especially at the beginning, the drawing taking shape is very pleasing. I started to paint the details like the eyes and the sphere of the staff, I really like the light effects of these parts.

Now I've started to paint the roughest part of the drawing, I've started to try ideas to blend the blue tips with the gray body. I will certainly come back to this stage to improve the details.

Almost complete, missing a few spaces to paint, I left the staff last because I never painted one of these with colored pencils and wanted to do some tests before starting, then I just went back to the drawing and made the last details of the art.

Conclusion

I left the staff for the last and I really liked how it turned out, I still have to improve the lighting effects with colored pencils but I thought they were pretty cool for the first attempts, I really liked his hair when the colors are mixed. It was a very pleasant drawing to do, I put my best music to play and started the fun, I'm loving to join my hobby with the posts on HIVE and loving all the support and encouragement that the game community gives us, thank you.
