Meta Cumplida: Soy un Médico Cirujano / Goal Achieved: I am a Doctor

Hola a todos, cómo se encuentran? Ya ha pasado casi un mes desde que cumplí la mayor meta de mi vida hasta ahora, y como ya he asimilado todo, pero principalmente al fin fui a buscar las fotos, hoy quiero compartir este momento con todos en la comunidad, jajaja.

Hello everyone, how are you? It has been almost a month since I fulfilled the greatest goal of my life so far, and since I have already assimilated everything, but mainly at the end I went to look for the photos, today I want to share this moment with everyone in the community, jajaja.

Está fue una semana muy intensa, pues además de la carga emocional por culminar nuestros estudios, también tuvimos que presentar un trabajo de grado, donde con mucho trabajo, esfuerzo y superando algunos momentos donde queríamos lanzar todo por la ventana, salimos adelante, jajaja.

This was a very intense week, because in addition to the emotional burden of completing our studies, we also had to present a degree project, where with a lot of work, effort and overcoming some moments where we wanted to throw everything out the window, we got ahead, jajaja.

Luego vino la misa de acción de gracia, donde nos bendicieron a todos, de igual forma nuestras batas, para empezar este nuevo camino de la mano de Dios. Aunque no soy muy religioso, me pareció muy bonito el significado del acto.

Then came the mass of thanksgiving, where they blessed us all, in the same way our robes, to begin this new path of the hand of God. Although I am not very religious, I found the meaning of the act very beautiful.

Y por último llegó el día de la imposición de batas, un acto simbólico muy bonito, ya que es la primera vez que usaremos una bata ya como doctores, y nuestros padres, aquellas personas que lucharon tanto junto a nosotros para cumplir este objetivo, serán los encargados de vestirnos con ella.

And finally came the day of the imposition of gowns, a very beautiful symbolic act, since it is the first time that we will wear a gown as doctors, and our parents, those people who fought so hard with us to achieve this goal, will be those in charge of dressing us with it.

Esto fue especialmente emotivo para mi mamá, ya que ella también es médico, por lo que le lleno de mucho orgullo que ahora sí nos podremos llamar colegas, jajaja.

This was especially emotional for my mother, since she is also a doctor, so she is very proud that now we can call ourselves colleagues, jajaja.

Seguimos con la imposición de la estola y la entrega de la carta de culminación, lo que demuestra que ya soy académicamente un médico cirujano, a la espera de recibir mi título en diciembre.

We continue with the imposition of the stole and the delivery of the letter of completion, which shows that I am already a medical surgeon academically, waiting to receive my degree in December.

Una cosa que no me gustó mucho fue que yo era el primero del acto, por lo que si cometía un error o algo se notaría demasiado, menos mal todo salió bien y el acto completo fue muy bonito.

One thing that I did not like very much was that I was the first of the act, so if I made a mistake or something would be too noticeable, thank goodness everything went well and the entire act was very beautiful.

Después del discurso final y con nuestras carpetas en el aire, cerramos la etapa universitaria de nuestra vida, con ganas iniciar esta nueva etapa, la profesional, y con también con muchas expectativas por intentar cada día ser mejor y ayudar a muchas personas.

After the final speech and with our folders in the air, we closed the university stage of our life, wanting to start this new stage, the professional one, and also with high expectations to try to be better every day and help many people.

Aunque aún hay un poco de miedo, se que con el apoyo de mis seres queridos, y sobre todo de mi madre, quien me ha enseñado más que nadie el amor por la medicina y por tus pacientes, estoy seguro que todo saldrá bien!

Although there is still a bit of fear, I know that with the support of my loved ones, and especially my mother, who has taught me more than anyone the love for medicine and for your patients, I am sure that everything will be fine!
