What are fruit drinks?

Fruit drinks are drinks made from fruit extracts. They could be made with just one type of fruit or a combination of two or more fruit extracts. Fruit drinks can be made at home or bought from the market. The concentrated ones like orange squash should be diluted with clean, fresh cold water. When fruit drinks are made at home, it is necessary to make them with clean ingredients and sweeten them lightly with granulated sugar.

These drinks taste better when served chilled. Fruit drinks help to quench our thirst especially during hot days. They supply the body with some minerals.

Fruit drinks made at home or bought from the supermarket include juices such as orange, pineapple, tomatoes, mango, guava, as well as drinks like ginger beer, punch, etc.

Fruit drinks are 100 percent fruit extract while fruit drinks have other items like sugar, water, salt added to them. The following are the ways of preparing simple fruits juice and drinks

ORANGE JUICE
  • Wash five large sizes of ripe juicy oranges
  • Peel off the skin and cut into two

  • Squeeze out the juice using an orange squeezer (this also helps to serve the seed from the juice)

  • Put in a refrigerator and serve chilled

Fruit drinks are delicious/tasty. Both cold and hot. I recently realized this, when I tried a hot strawberry drink for the first time 10 days ago (on 2021.11.26). Its taste is similar to the taste of pudding. I would gladly recommend hot fruit drinks to anyone.
