1/3🧵 Many sports have been subject to regulations over time, whether to protect athletes or make the competition less dangerous. Some sports really need attention in certain aspects to prevent accidents, but does that take away a bit of the magic they bring?

2/3🧵 Some sports attract spectators precisely because of these risks or because they involve activities that ordinary people wouldn’t have the courage to try. How do we regulate such practices without taking away their appeal, while ensuring that competitors don’t compromise their physical integrity? Risks exist in any activity, whether it’s extreme, physical contact, or not.
