WISDOM! Acting Right With Knowledge

INTRODUCTION
Wisdom is good. It is the principal thing.

Proverbs 4:7 (KJV) Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understand.

The Bible advises us to get wisdom. It is wisdom that will give you precise direction in pursuing your goal. The aim and aspiration of every one of us is to arrive at our desired destination. Wisdom is the most important asset in achieving our lives' goals.

Wisdom is the right application of knowledge. One is wise when one applies what one has learned rightly. Foolishness is the opposite of wisdom. This implies that one will be counted foolish if one doesn't apply what one has learned or if one applies it wrongly. I choose to be wise, therefore I have decided to rightly apply my knowledge from all aspects of my life. Do you too decide so?

BEING WISE AS A FATHER
As a father I have learnt that I must train my children in the way they should go, so I do just that - guiding them in the way they should go.
The question is knowing the way they should go. The way they should go is the way of getting acquainted with God. You could be bothered: why God? Yes, God is the most important subject of our lives. He created us; we come from Him and we are going back to Him. So, training your children to know God as a father is vital.

Another thing that a father should guide his child to achieve is education. Education is the light of life. Going through life without education will limit one's success. You wouldn't want that for your children. So a wise father will give his children the right and resourceful education.

There are many things one should train his children to go with, as a father. I won't be able to outline all that because that isn't the main subject of this discourse. Notwithstanding, proper care for the children is all important. The father would ensure that his children are healthy and well fed. They should not be a social nuisance.

GETTING KNOWLEDGE
This is the central idea in the writing of this article. I was just trying to look into my Bible and extract some knowledge from it when it came to my remembrance that several of us learn from diverse sources. The level of wisdom each of us exhibit is dependent on the level of knowledge we have. Moreso, the purity of wisdom is affected by the source of our knowledge. We shall look at this in a later paragraph.

Learning From The Bible
Moral wisdom is one of the best types of wisdom. Being able to interact with people without offenses is respectful. Many people have moral decadence. They have moral defects. The Bible is one book I know that has the ability to produce good morals in a person. Not only moral wisdom is obtained from the Bible, it also teaches on different other aspects of life (social, financial, academical, marital, political, etc).

Learning From Educational Materials
We go to school to learn. May I submit to you that they are several knowledge, covering vast areas of our daily life, which is fully available on the #hive blockchain. I'm foreseeing that in the nearest future, #hive posts will be rich in knowledgeable materials more than any learning institution in the world. Educational materials are another way of acquiring knowledge. When we read books and study on some materials, we are acquiring knowledge. We learn science, technology, Economics, Mathematics, Philosophy and others through this channel.

Learning From Peers And Friends
Knowledge is also obtained from our day to day interaction with friends. We learn from what they say and do. This is why a person's mindset will be shaped according to the kind of people around him/her. Whether we accept it or not, the larger masses live their lives by the influence of what they see and hear from others.

Learning From Media
Media such as television, radio, social media platforms, etc are currently influencing the world with the information they disseminate daily. We are yet to come to this subtle reality that the social media platforms are largely influencing the world information sector. Most of the younger generations live their lives to a greater percentage on social media information.

Learning By Observation
Aside from all the channels of learning we have discussed so far, we also learn from observations. What we see happening around us gives us Information which adds to our knowledge base. Learning from observations is one of the common ways we receive knowledge from our society.

GOOD OR EVIL WISDOM
Since wisdom is a function of knowledge, there is a great tendency of our knowledge being good or bad. For instance, we are on the social platform of hive blockchain earning from publishing and curating contents. Such is the application of good knowledge. On the contrary, there are people who are putting up fake and dubious websites to dube people with their hard earned money. That is an example of evil application of knowledge. In both instances, the knowledge of the internet and technology is involved. But while one side uses the knowledge justly, the other uses it unjustly.
Therefore, wrong use of knowledge can result in bad wisdom while the right use of knowledge results in good and profitable wisdom.

CONCLUSION
Wisdom is the right application of knowledge. Be wise! Use the knowledge you have acquired about the Hive Blockchain rightly and productively.
Don't be foolish. Inability to apply knowledge rightly is foolishness. So, if you refuse to rightly apply the knowledge you have acquired about the blockchain, then you are acting foolishly. It's not an insult, I'm only trying to enlighten.
