Hello guys!
My name is Meya Teingi ,I just turned 20 this year.i live in yenagoa the capital of Bayelsa State.
Yeah it is indeed a great beginning for me as I am the happiest person to be the newest member of this amazing family.

ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in a polygamus family where I happened to be the 9th child of my mother and the 13th child to my father.My favorite colour is Blue and favorite food is spaghetti. I hail from Bayelsa State.

MY EDUCATION

I had all the stages of my education in yenagoa,and I am aspiring to be a nurse.

MY HOBBIES

To be candid,I love music alot. I also write songs.for me music is a vibe giver.i joined the choir department in my church since I was 5years old ,and I'm still a chorister till date.
I also love baking too! I've always had a thing for baking since I was like 7years old, lol. I developed myself,went for some baking classes and I still thrive to become better.

WHY I JOINED HIVE

I see Hive as a platform where I can express myself through writing and creating contents.
I joined hive to explore,and add value to the masses with the talent given to me in my own little way.i know hive is going to bring out alot of qualities in me.

HOW I GOT TO KNOW ABOUT HIVE

I got to know about hive through a friend @young-boss-karin .
My sincere appreciation goes to @young-boss-karin , @tarilayoung for making my coming on hive a reality today.and thanks for your support and mentorship.
And to you all that stopped by to read my post,I promise to give you guys more creative contents as you join me on my journey through Hive.

Polygamous family? Please share whatever experiences you are comfortable with sharing. That is so far outside of what I’m familiar living in America and Japan most of my life. I have friends who engage in polyamory but that is the opposite of the their traditions and not well understood by the masses.

I run the Cross culture community, and hearing about this kind of experience is what I made it for! Of course feel free to write about anything you want at hive, whatever you are passionate about (I love music too 🙃 but my Nigerian music is limited to a few old rockers like Fela Kuti and William Onyeabor, and one song by Patronking)

I could help update your Nigerian playlist. I think I know a few you might like, especially as you mentioned Fela. You should listen to The Cavemen. I love their old school vibe, chat me up on Discord if you do and tell me what you think.

American music is pretty known but Japanese??? Tell me more please 😆

I’ve seen the Cavemen on some playlists but didn’t listen to much yet. Ghana has some very talented producers. I wonder if there is some overlap in the music scene between Ghana and Nigeria. Japanese....I gotta send you on discord. I need to figure out what you like

There used to be an overlap between Ghanaian and Nigerian music but recently I think our musicians think they're too good for Ghanaians 😆
