Why Play Dogami Game

Hi, Hivegamers!!! I've posted about Dogami here on Hive a few days prior to the first minting, sometime five months back. From the minting of Alpha 1 to the present, a lot of things have happened like a new generation of breeds labeled as Alpha 2 were minted, and was sold out in three days, including public sale. Dogami NFTs trading basically dominated OBJKT marketplace everyday since then. Beta is fast approaching too.

I just want to let you know that Dogami is truly special as a blockchain game. During the first minting, XTZ was hovering on the $4 price level. Right now it's at $1.37. But the funny thing is all Alpha minters who are still holding are still in big profits despite XTZ prices going below $2. When most blockchain games are suffering from low returns, Dogami had been a rock solid investment. I can even say Dogami saved my crypto portfolio.

Why Am I Bullish on Dogami? Or should I say Bulldoggish?

Firstly, I would say Dogami reached a milestone recently. On it's last minting phase, they released a way of minting a Dogami NFT by way of direct credit card transaction. I'm not sure about other games if some outfits have done it, but having people using a credit card to buy an NFT just makes it so accessible to anyone, even without access to Binance and other central exchanges. A tezos compatible wallet though is still required.

Secondly, on the 5 Alpha Series 2 breeds that were recently released, one of them is the Italian Greyhound. You know, what this means, there's gonna be dog racing. There's gonna be elements of Pegaxy on the side. So probably if you want to get into Dogami, and a bit of bad news, though, floor prices rose today unexpectedly from 270 to 345 XTZ. Well not unexpected really because Dogami is truly having its own universe and is somewhat not moving with the trend. So you can try to buy an unopened box.

If you want to have a go of having an Italian Greyhound, buy the unopened box and you should get 20% chance of owning a Greyhound. But if you want a specific dog, just scroll around on OBJKT Marketplace or Dogami Marketplace. It's cheaper usually on OBJKT.

My third reason why Dogami is a winner is each Alpha 1 and Alpha 2 series are given allowances monthly for 24 months. Alpha 1 are those numbered 1 to 8000, while Alpha Series 2 are those numbered 8001 to 12000. The monthly allowance is pegged at 300 Doga coins. There had been 3 drops already for Alpha 1 and 1 drop of Doga coins for Alpha 2.

Let's say the Doga coins at the end of 24 months got valued at 50 cents USD, just for argument's sake. The computation will be:

23 (less 1 already given) x 300 Doga x $0.50 = $3,450

That's the amount you'll get from just getting the allowance if Doga coin reaches $0.5. It did reach that already but as of yesterday it slid to $0.10 and recovering a little today. Who knows, it can reach $1 since there are people who are really gobbling up the diamond-tier dogs. It's just a personal opinion for me. People are also locking up their Doga coins, so circulating supply is really not high.

The cost of a Dogami box is let's say $600 on average. All in all, you'll get $2,850. Then afterwards you can sell the unopened box. The price you can sell your Dogami will depend on its rarity. You saw the above image that some had higher prices it's because those were either gold or diamond tier.

But if you want to play, that's a different matter, you're gonna need the allowance on the upkeep of the dog, but then you're going to breed new puppies, so that will give you more room for profits. Also playing of course will be the most fun part because it's an AR game. You play with your digital dog and you earn at the same time.

My fourth reason is that XTZ is at the low end of its trading spectrum. As they say, nowhere to go but up. No better price to get in than now, right?

Lastly, Dogami is partnering with big names like Sandbox metaverse where it was already announced that Dogami will have their own land on the Sandbox metaverse. Right now the devs of both Dogami and Sandbox are figuring out how to incorporate non-biped avatars inside the Sandbox. Not only with Sandbox but there are many big names that are lining up to collaborate with Dogami, one is Lacoste and another is Gap. Lacoste is launching their own NFT collection and had some lucky Dogami holders get free WL passes on the Lacoste NFT launch.
