🔬#MESExperiments 43: Dr. Irwin Moon Fries an Egg on a COLD Stove using High Voltage AC

In #MESExperiments 43 I show a clip from the late Dr. Irwin Moon's 1956 science video series in which he demonstrates the selective power of high voltage alternating current (AC) through a copper coil: steel wool exploding, eggs frying instantly, yet paper and hands don't burn! Without the coil, Moon shows that a very large and bright spark gap is formed. Absolutely fascinating!
These demonstrations were part of Dr. Irwin Moon's evangelical missionary outreach using science via his Moody Science Institute.
