Nostalgic Walk to my Former Office Building - Vienna
Hi everyone!
About a week ago, I had an appointment with my Neurologist in the 7th District here in Vienna. The clinic is directly located at a shopping mile at the Mariahilfer Strasse. I chose this specialist back then because of the proximity of his clinic to my former office. I have an eye nerve problem that's been bugging me and causing migraines.
After the consultation, I went window shopping. The Mariahilfer Strasse is a car-free shopping street that is about 1Km long. All shops both local and international flagship stores, are represented here. There are also street cafes catering to tired shoppers.
I have decided to take a walk, turning on the street called Esterhazy Strasse into the direction of my former office building. This street has plenty of beautiful buildings with lovely plasters on their facade in the style of Art Nouveau.
I miss this market because it was very convenient to just buy fresh produce during lunch breaks. Sadly, our office back then moved to a bigger office in the city center because we could not accommodate the multinational expats coming from various EU and GUS countries for the office conferences.
Thanks to @tattoodjay and @elizacheng for the Wednesday Walk and Make Me Smile collaboration.

Thank you @tattoodjay. It was indeed a lovely walk full of fond memories.
Beautiful buildings. It is a commercial area but it is clean and orderly, and nice to walk around.
Yes, indeed a clean and orderly one. The architecture in this area is no doubt a plus tothis shopping mile. Thanks for visiting.
What a fond memories that prevailed in your heart. I think this walked let your tear drops recalling your office days. Vienna is really nice and clean.
Yeah, it really had been very nostalgic...but my eyes were not teary..I love the office in the city center we moved into but it was so huge that only half was occupied by our Finance Dept. The other half had been empty most of the time since the bosses were travelling all the time.
Good to know that you're enjoying yourself a lot in that lovely place after the check-up, so, how are you today praying that your eyes will heal sooner.
Yep, I enjoyed the "laag", because I haven´t been here for a long time... fond memories . I hope the eyes will get better, thanks a ton!
Vienna is a nice city! ... and the Hive Café :-D that´s funny! 😃
Oh yes, I didn't even know that such cafe exists. I must visit it sometime, who knows the owner is a Hiver, hahaha..! Thanks for dropping-by.
That´s a good idea, you have to do it! ... and then please let us know about it!
