Hello dear friends of this beautiful community, blessed day, today I will talk about my little morrocoy, I always clean them because they like to be on the ground, some even bury themselves.

We find them of different sizes, some are female and there are few males, they love to be together.

Hola queridos amigos de esta hermosa comunidad, bendecido dia, hoy les hablaré sobre mis pequeños morrocoy, siempre los limpio debido a que les gusta estar sobre la tierra, incluso algunos se entierran.

Encontramos de diferentes tamaños, algunas son hembras y los machos son pocos, les encanta estar juntos.

They feed on fruits, vegetables, plants, among other varieties of food, we can give them twice a day and with their water to cool off.

I always leave a place with plenty of water in the hot season so that they are calm, and with sand in another corner.

Se alimentan de frutas, verduras, plantas, entre otras variedades de alimento,les podemos dar dos veces al día y con su agua para que se refresquen.

Yo siempre en epoca de calor les dejo un lugar con abundante agua para que ellas esten tranquilas, y con arena en otra esquina.

I keep them in a place with plenty of space and closed, they seek to be on top of each other to escape, but if another animal leaves them they can easily eat them and I don't want that.

The morrocoy are animals that need help, we can leave them in a safe place when they are big and they will fend for themselves, but always with the danger of predators attacking.

They can last many years, they are an animal that has the ability to adapt to the climate and they eat very well.

Las mantengo en un lugar con bastante espacio y cerrado, ellas buscan estar encima de la otra para escaparse, pero si las dejo otro animal las puede comer fácilmente y no quiero eso.

Los morrocoy son animales que necesitan ayuda, podemos dejarlos en un lugar seguro cuando estén grandes y se van a valer por si mismo, pero siempre con el peligro de que los depredadores ataquen.

Pueden durar muchos años, son un animal que tiene la capacidad de adaptarse al clima y se alimenta muy bien.

They tend to prefer land more than water, even during the time of laying they bury the eggs and when the rains come the small hatchlings are seen in large numbers.

We have always helped the morrocoy to have a good size and we take them to a safe place when they are big, and it is our duty to protect them.

Suelen preferir más la tierra que el agua, incluso en epoca de postura entierran los huevos y cuando llegan las lluvias se ven las pequeñas crias en grandes cantidades.

Siempre hemos ayudado a los morrocoy a tener un buen tamaño y los llevamos a un lugar seguro cuando estan grandes, y es nuestro deber protegerlos.
