The Curse Phase 3 in No Man's Sky

Greetings! Welcome to the gaming blog! Today, I continued my expedition in No Man's Sky Universe. I am in Phase 3 of the expedition. There were five missions completed in Phase 3: walked 8000 u, 8 hungering tendrils eliminated, 4 anomalous fish caught, became serene in the face of infinity, and reached the third portal. Here is my story; I hope you like it.

I was spawned in a blue system called the Gaxaral System. There were five planets: Tuwanl Akkan, Yennathi Sigman, Todai 15/Z6, Tarum 17/E9, and Wisbor XV. The portal was on Planet Tarum 17/E9, a ringed planet, where I spawned. The endless hunger mission was about searching Titan Worm Burrows and eliminating their hungering tendrils in order to purge the infestation. To search for the giant worms, I left Tarum and headed to the infested planet, the Wisbor. While flying with incredible speed, I stumbled upon the Jettisoned Storage Silo. I destroyed it and got a nice amount of ammonia.

After more than 2 million units of distance travelled, I finally entered the atmosphere of Planet Wisbor. When I arrived, there were storms, blurring my vision and making it not easy to execute landing. I saw dying, strange-looking plants all over the land, and extreme night radiation was detected. When I stepped down from my ship, I could hear the Titan Worm's loud sound. I walk toward the worm on foot, around 500 units. It's creepy there at night. I can't imagine how stunned I am if it were VR.

I destroyed the Titan Worm using Bolcaster; it was fast, and then it exploded, apex predators released. The predators started to attack me, took a few shots, and took down my entire shield. I was panicked. I hit my jet pack, trying to escape from the predators. I flew so high and forgot to manage my jet pack's fuel. I ran out of gas in the midair, then I fell to the ground without any shield, making it my first death in this expedition. I was spawned around 500 units away from where I died; without any resources, I am in trouble. Not only did I get attacked by the worms, even the fauna also started to attack me! I went to the top of the tall plant, and the creature followed me, hitting my back!

To avoid the predator attack, my strategy was to flee to the top of the plant and attack the worm from the top. After three worms were eliminated, I summoned my companion and rode it to the next area. This way makes me move around easily, faster, and safer. Compared to my ride, the fauna that I found nearby was smaller. I can't attack while riding my companion, so same strategy like before.

I am ran out of elixir, so I use my starship to get the mission done, but it's not easy! It's much harder to aim because I can't make the ship stationary. I had no other choice; I spent some time to harvest the resources needed, then crafted enough elixir of glass for safety. It took me one hour to complete the endless hunger mission!

I went back to Planet Tarum 17/E9 to do the In Wine, Dark Seas mission. The objective was to catch four anomalous fish, so this planet was the right planet to do it. With the fishing rig in my hand, it took me 10 tries to catch the right fish for the mission to complete.

In order to become serene in the face of infinity, I had to gaze toward the star at night. The tricky part was that I had to wait until nighttime to do this mission. I tried going to space, but it doesn't count. Full one minute gazed at the stars at night, then mission completed!

After completing all the missions of phase 3, I moved to the portal and teleported to a better system. A system without a space station was hard; just like the system where I do phase 3 missions, there was no space station there. I cannot sell anything or upgrade anything. Phase 4's mission seems harder (big battle), so I need every upgrade I can get, especially my exosuits. I was easily defeated by mere predators during phase 3. Although I have two more phases left, I think it's enough for today. Thank you so much for your support. Meet again in the next adventure. Have a nice day and say goodbye.

Some of the shots are really good. Love this one.

And that flying worm (?) is huge. What a mysterious planet!
