NMS Adventure in Adrift Expedition : Phase II

When I am in the early hours of the expedition, I am so focused on completing the Phase 1 Missions. While doing that, some of the missions of Phase 2 were also accidentally completed while I was enjoying the exploration and adventure in the empty alternate universe of No Man's Sky.

There's literary no lifeform that I can interact with everywhere I go. There was this trading station on a planet, as shown in the picture above, where all the lamps and computers were still working, I think, but there were neither Geek, Vyken, nor Kovaks that were usually stationed there so I could learn some language or even trade with them. It feels so empty, and I miss them already.

There were seven mission that needed to be completed on Phase 2 of the Adrift Expedition, and I already completed three during my journey to the Rendezvous 1. I have four unsettled missions left. The first mission was to attempt to raise a signal. I was required to reach the tracked coordinates of the holographic communication tower.

I have no problem going anywhere in the vast universe because I have my main starship from my origin universe. It was really great advantage to be able to copy the starship and multitool with small amount of nanites. The grind from the first planet was totally worth it! I have enough nanites to buy a copy of my main starship and multitool. So reaching the holographic communication tower was easy.

I was required to recharge the transmitter using Sodium in order to boost the signal. But unfortunately, the transmitter was nothing other than a monument and seems long forgotten. After the signal transmitter recharged, the signal was sent, but nothing came back; there was nothing out there. That's a true definition of speaking to the void. The Faintest Echo mission was another milestone for Phase 2 that was completed.

The second mission was to investigate the Space Anomaly's Prime Terminal. The terminal will enable me to communicate further among the stars. But there was a problem, I needed a Mind Ark to connect and activate the Prime Terminal. It's a small data packet—a crucial set of devices needed. Fortunately, I was given the Mind Ark's formula. To craft one, it required 1 hypnotic eye (which I believe I accidentally sold), 99 atlantideum (I have none of this), and 64 activated copper (I have 0).

I went back to space and landed inside a space station. All space stations were abandoned, but luckily, the trading terminal still has the function of buying and selling resources. I bought 1 hypnotic eye from the trading terminal in the space station. It cost me 73808 cash units, which was very cheap because I have 15 million cash units left. Other than that eye, I bought an emergency signal scanner, which cost me around 1.3 million cash units, because I am curious about it and want to try it out later.

While searching for atlantideum and activated copper, I warped to many star systems and planets; it took me a while to find them, but what caught my attention was when I discovered this creature that suddenly appeared in front of me, digging out from the ground and quickly back into the ground wherever I came near it. It called V. Platiproe, first discovered by jessxero.

I found atlantideum in a Volcanic Planet called Suvan O29. It has dissonance, which was why it has lots of sweet purple minerals of atlantideum everywhere. After harvesting enough atlantideum, I continue my journey to find activated copper.

I found the activated copper on a Murky Planet called Erquel. It was an unmapped planet when I arrived, so I am the first to discover that planet. It has high sentinel activity, so I have to be careful because my exosuit will not survive like I did in my origin universe. Remember when I said I forgot to bring any technology with me, It was at this moment that I realised that I made a big mess.

I went back to the Prime Terminal after I crafted the Mind Ark. The screen was showing long numbers, as if the Mind Ark were transferring the data. My exosuit downloaded and interpreted the data from the Prime Terminal, where planetary coordinates was located.

I followed the marked coordinates and location, and reached an ancient building. There was an activation panel on the front and a portal in the building. When I activated the panel , which was the memories of Mendi, a portal formed, and it called me to go through it.

After I stepped into the portal, a pink warp hole appeared, a kind of warp hole I never encountered before! I was so excited to see what was behind the pink warp hole.

I was sent into space. It was my first time wandering among the stars without my starship. I enjoyed the moment. I tried to swim towards the Atlas, to see what would happen when I was close enough. Unfortunately, my fun time in space ended, and I was sent back to the land. Then another milestone was completed, which was Amidst The Stars.

My last mission before I continued my journey to reach Rendezvous 2 was to climb a mountain over 1600 units. I admitted, it was not as easy as it looked. The harder part was finding the planet that actually has over 1600 units of high mountains. But, I did it!

Finally, my last check point was to reach Rendezvous 2. It was on a Barren Planet called Wedn 046. Upon reaching the check point, Expedition Phase 2 was completed, and I was rewarded with starship wreckage base parts. I can't wait to see it!
