Finally... there's Fishing in No Man's Sky!
Greetings! Welcome to my blog. Today I continue my journey in No Man's Sky Expedition. My first mission today was the Gone Fishing Mission. The objective was to reach the first rendezvous point. From my last checkpoint, which was the Aseyci System, I departed from the space station and continued to collect resources to craft more Warp Cells in order for me to travel to the next system.
I activated the pulse engine technology to reach a radioactive planet called Londalei, but unfortunately, I am running out of the pulse engine's fuel. So I had to find a neutron-rich fuel element, the tritium, from space. I am lucky that there's an abundant source of tritium nearby. After getting enough Tritium, I recharged my pulse engine and activated it.
The view was fascinating when I landed on the planet Londalei. It was night at that time. A few moments later, a storm came, with reactive rain all over the planet. I had no choice but to take shelter inside the ship and wait until the weather cleared.
After getting enough warp cells, I warped to the next checkpoint, the Nagene System. One warp consumes 20% of the Hyperdrive's fuel. Without wasting time, I warped again to Stbury System, which was in the Igitani Cluster region, the location of the Gone Fishing Mission. I am so thrilled with the fishing system, which is new to the game.
I landed on the objective location. It was on a humid planet called Dreato. I landed next to a lake. The lake looked purple and sometimes changed to an orange color. That's odd, but not in the NMS universe. I opened up my scanner to look for the mission's exact location. It was 300 units estimated distance from where I landed. Then, I walk to reach my destination. The plant glowed at night. It looks so beautiful.
When I reached the location, it was the Angler's Cache. I rummaged through the cache's; it appears to contain a schematic for a piece of fishing equipment, so I downloaded it. A new technology has been discovered, the fishing rig. It requires carbon nanotube, dihydrogen hely, and chromatic metal to craft one.
Oh my man! I really like this new update! This is what I wish the will have, and now travellers of NMS can go fishing! Yahuu! It was so much fun! By successfully crafted a fishing rig, I completed the Toe in the Water Mission. I get Powerful Underwater Oxygen Upgrade and Underwater Survival Blueprints.
My first strike! A Tiny Scuttlefish! Hahaha
Another catch, but it was not fish. I landed a message in a bottle! What!? hahahaa! When I opened it, a scarp of paper recovered; the message on it read, "We cannot escape. They come when the sun is highest. I pray it is not too late." I don't have any idea what it was about, and I continue fishing. But surprising, I completed The One That Mission! I get NipNip Buds, Supreme Movement System Upgrade, and Inventory Slot.
I continued fishing. I had to catch four more fish.
Yes! My second catch. A Reef Eel!
The third catch was an uncommon fish, Jungle Redfin, 6.25 kg. With that catch, I completed Hook, Line, and Sinker Mission. I was rewarded with a with a Pre-Package Advanced Mining Laser Unit and Dangling Orb.
After a while, I caught all five fish and completed Wading in Mission. I get pre-packaged Aqua-Jets Unit and Nutrient Processor Plans. New building part learnt!
Before leaving the planet, this creature called L. Falconyazaxus caught my attention. It can change color and is really active despite its massive size.
My last mission for today was Catch of the Mission. The objective was to cook fish. So I need to craft a nutrient processor, which required metal plating, a hermetic seal, and sodium. It took me a while to find all the needed resources, but then finally I successfully crafted it. I tried to cook reef eel, and it produced fleshy cylinders, which can be sold for 33,100 units of money each! Wow! I need to fish more! Then I tried to cook the Jungle Redrin, a B-rank catch. It produced edible chum with the same value as the eels. Such dispointment. The value should be higher! I get Supreme Life Support Upgrade and Banned Hazard Protection Upgrade for the completion reward. So, today I completed phase 1 of the expedition, and I am happy about it. As the rewards, I get most posters plans.
So, that's all for today. Thank you so much for your support! Follow me for more updates on my journey in No Man's Sky Expedition 15. I wish everyone a nice day. Farwell.
HAHAHA!! good post I thought the title was funny, yesterday I saw a trailer of this game and wanted to see what things they had put in it over time. What was the new content, DLC, among other things and I thought it was very good and then I saw your post and I said to myself: well I'll give this IP a chance.

Give it a try man! It's really a great game!
What a fun post to read! I really enjoyed your Gaming Photography and the way you lead the story along kept me wanting more!
Good job on completing your mission and getting some cool blueprints to use! NMS had a rocky start but has turned into quite an impressive game.
Keep up the great work and thank you for sharing your story.
Ya, I have so much fun. But I rarely have time to play now. When I do have the time, I will choose NMS and continue my journey. I hope to post more and response more. Thank you so much!
I used to play this game almost 2 years ago, never knew there was this feature in this game. As far as I remember, I only explored 2 planets in the game.
Fishing is quite fun and I'd like to try it out. I guess I'll start playing the game again.
Fishing is a lots of fun! You should give it a try too.

I agree! It must be a beautiful spot for photos
Damn, they keep adding good stuff to this game. The developers really worked well on this one after that nightmare launch few years ago.
I was running short on storage and didn't have much time, so I uninstalled it...missing it now.
Yeah, I understand. You got a lot of great games. All that I like. I am running short on storage too but I keep this one. It's really time consuming.
Sounds like an exciting expedition I don't know this game but its graphics aside it's mind blowing. With wit and curiosity, you complete quests, find messages in bottles and encounter amazing creatures a cosmic narrative that leaves you wanting more.
The graphics and its mechanics are really amazing. I have most hours playing this game this year. almost 200 hours and still playing it when I got free time.
This game looks pretty interesting, what is the game size? i should definitely try it ou
around 15gb I think.
Okay thank you🙏🏾
you are welcome 👍
