Final Battle in Cursed Expedition of No Man's Sky!

Greetings! Welcome to my gaming blog! I am thrilled to share this completion of the cursed expedition in No Man's Sky. A few days ago, I had doubts about my ability to complete the expedition mission, which still required two more phases. There are more than 10 missions left, and I was concerned that I wouldn't have enough time to complete them all within the remaining time. However, I sacrificed time that I should have spent in the garden to play this video game, all in an effort to complete the expedition! I thought I would be consuming more hours in order to complete the missions, but I finished it in less than 2 hours! I am thrilled with it! I really want that starship! So time was worth it, haha.

There were a few missions that almost made me want to quit the expedition. The first mission had me searching for two exotic creatures. In my system during phase four, I only found one exotic creature across the entire system. I landed on every planet in that system to double-check, and all I found was an exotic creature that looked like a glowing pile of rocks that could move. There were many strange floating rocks on that planet, which looked really interesting. The mission was harder because I couldn’t travel or warp to a new system since this expedition didn’t allow warp technology! Then I remembered my starship from my original world, the Quantum Falcon! I quickly went to the Space Anomaly to double-check. At the expedition terminal, I found I could make a copy of my starship from my original world, as well as my multi-tool, by paying a few thousand nanites.

Without wasting time, I went back to the planet with the Disonance Resonator to farm for nanites! I spent a lot of time here, but I was willing to keep going to collect enough nanites to pay for the copies of my starship and multi-tools. I really needed my main multi-tools in this short amount of time.

After collecting enough nanites, I was finally able to make a copy of my main ship! Without wasting any time, I could now move to a new system. Finding exotic creatures isn’t hard when my starship is equipped with warp technology. All I need to do is look for a white system, which always has at least one planet with an exotic creature. I was really lucky because the first white system I visited had an exotic creature! This creature was a brown sphere with wire wrapped around it, moving like a ball—haha!

Another challenging mission was to eliminate corrupt quadrupeds. I needed to take down 8 of them! Even though my multi-tool was powerful and my best weapon, my exosuit was in serious danger. I couldn’t copy my exosuit from my original world, so I was like a glass cannon. While my damage output was high, I could be easily killed if I got careless. This made it one of the hardest missions in the expedition.

After defeating the corrupt quadrupeds, I faced an even bigger problem—the threat of sentinel drones! After a few intense battles, I felt it was nearly impossible to complete in a short time. Luckily, I thought of a very effective strategy! I used my starship to hunt down and destroy the corrupt quadrupeds, which made it 100 times easier! Although the sentinel starships were triggered and started attacking me, the first wave only sent 1 sentinel interceptor, so I let it attack my fully upgraded starship. The attack from just one interceptor couldn’t harm my starship at all! Haha, with this method, I turned the hardest mission into an easy one.

I completed many more missions, but most of them were quite easy. I’ve included screenshots of my adventure, let the pictures do the talking! Even though I’ve played over 200 hours, this game never disappoints me. There’s always a view that makes me pause to take in the beauty of the surroundings, too many times to count. The music also makes it even more enjoyable!

I never expected that I’d have to fight the giant jellyfish I saw at the start of the expedition. It’s called the Boundary Guardian, and it was the final battle that wrapped up the expedition. What made this fight so tough was the constant attack from spectral enemies that came down and attacked me non-stop. So, I had to keep dodging and shooting at the giant jellyfish at the same time. The Boundary Guardian’s face was very unique, and I just realized it looks exactly like the reward helmet I got after finishing the expedition! Wow! My multi-tool was a huge help, just one shot reduced a lot of the Guardian’s vitality! The challenge was dodging attacks from both the spectral enemies and the Guardian since my exosuit was so weak!

I finished this expedition a few days ago, but I only just felt ready to share about it today. I really love my new helmet and starship from the completion reward. Although there were other rewards, they didn’t catch my attention as much as these main ones! With a unique spaceship and an intimidating helmet, I’m even more excited to keep playing and exploring in the game.

And that wraps up my No Man's Sky expedition adventure for now. I hope you enjoy the screenshots I shared. Thank you for your time and support. See you in the next galaxy adventure post. Bye-bye!

Wow how amazing are the creatures in this video game, the helmet your character is wearing looks very scary, but it's great, especially the red eyes and the mouth on his forehead.
