Adrift Expedition Completed! Yes Finally!
Greetings! Our internet network problem has finally been solved. It's been a struggle to post anything in the past two weeks, but now our Unifi service is back online, and I am so happy about it. Not only that, I completed my Adrift Expedition in No Man Sky last week, so today I am happy to post about it. It took me a few days to fully complete it, but counting my total time to complete it, it only took me approximately five hours. I am sure some travellers do it quicker than I am.
I won't reveal all the missions on this expedition, but I will share some interesting screenshots I took while looking for the mission's target planet. There was a time when I was searching for robotic species, and I reached a few beautiful planets. One of the planets that caught my attention was one full of bubbles. It is home to only one species and experiences deadly pressure variations in its weather.
I have like less than 10 NipNip buds in my inventory, and that small amount actually triggered the sentinel to come and try to eliminate me while I was on the space. It's lucky that my starship was more than ready for battle. I never lose once since I have fully prepared. It was an epic battle against sentinel interceptors and the final boss, the sentinel capital ship. The sentinel forces were defeated, and they were forced to retreat. I won.
I really felt alone during the expedition. I started to miss all the NPCs. It's a vast universe, with only me alive to explore. Honestly, I cannot wait to complete it. So after completing Phase II, I spent hours completing all the remaining phases. In every mission, there was this one mission called drift through the void, where all I had to do was boost my starship in empty space and dream on. It took a few seconds to complete it. While doing it, I soon realised how empty the universe is without all three alien species interacting with me.
When I stumbled upon a frigate that was covered with thick smoke, I thought I had finally met a life. Someone I can interact with. To my surprise, it was actually a ghostship. I am so lucky to have stumbled upon it! It soon became one of my rewards after I completed the expedition. I am not sure and have not remembered what actually happened, but when I claimed my reward, one of them was this cool frigate that has infinite fuel. I am so excited to have it because not only does it look really cool, it ranks in S class!
Other than space battles, sentinel drone encounters were not uncommon. I am so grateful that I brought the sentinel flare with me. The sentinel flare has not only become my buddy wherever I go but also my bodyguard. It tries its best to eliminate any threat, especially the sentinel drone. I didn't fight long in the battle against the sentinel drone because my exosuits were not in their best condition. I didn't upgrade it to an optimised level since I wanted to complete this expedition as fast as I could. So long battle will risk my life, better to hide and run whenever I come across aggressive sentinel drones.
One of the interesting missions was to investigate a Darelic Freighter. When I land on it, it has severe conditions, broken doors, and a crawling hazard creture that fires poisonous acid. It was not hard to eliminate those creatures, but when the attack is done in groups, it will be worse than facing the sentinel drones.
When inside the Darelic Frieghter, I need to walk carefully since there are eggs everywhere. It senses movement, and wherever it starts to glow, I need to stop my movement and wait for the eggs to calm down. If I continue my movement, the eggs will explode, realising dangerous creatures, and I don't want that. My exosuit armour was in really bad condition to take damage at that moment. The terminal and computer, however, still show signs of electricity, but all I can do was read the logs of the travellers before they were destroyed by unknown causes.
I had never taken a picture outside of the frighter before. This expedition not only tested my prior knowledge of the game but also gave me so much new experience. After I completed the Darelic Friegther mission, I claimed the frigther and started walking out of it. I can see all the planets from there, and I think it was cool and a new experience for me.
The Carrier AI Fragment that dropped from the Sentinel Capital Ship after I defeated it came into use when I was needed to recover a crashed starship. So it's not any starship that I recovered, but it was a sentinel interceptor. The fragment brought me to a dissonant planet to recover the interceptor. It has a really cool design; it's unique and different from the interceptor that I currently use. If only I could add it to my collection and transfer it to my main world, it would be cool! But I cannot do that, so this newly discovered interceptor will leave behind such a waste. I have lots of carrier fragments at home, so I might do interceptor hunting after this, just to find a different starship.
The universe of no man's sky is really vast. It always amazes me with new discoveries. Just like this, like a planet-size living creature! I had no idea what it does to the surrounding or could it affect the planet weather. This find is still remains a mystery to me. To answer my curiosity, I fired it using my starship laser; it exploded but didn't leave any significant effect on me or the planet; it doesn't even fire back. Such a mystery! and what a great adventure I have!
Finally, I completed the expedition's mission. All phases have been completed! I travelled 6,704 light years, ummaped 7 systems, travelled 50,816 u, earned 3849 nanites, and received 34,705,681 units. So for those stats, my total earnings were 51,951,475 units, 16,621 Nanites, and 1,500 Quicksilvers. Not only that, my main reward was the Iron Vulture starship plus all phase-completed rewards. I am so satisfied with the reward I get from this expedition. It was my first time, and I cannot wait to do more. I wish they could bring back previous expedition missions; I really like to earn the previous reward as well. So, that's all for today. Thank you so much for your attention. See you in next adventure of No Man's Sky! Have a nice day, Goodbye!
Note : All photos were screenshots taken by me while playing the No Man's Sky game. My thumbnail picture was edited using PixeLab apps, the photo in there is my face with an exosuit armor that was generated by ToonMe apps.

Yeah I think I have heard about your network problem somewhere (might be in any discord). Well, tbh, I am a bit afraid of the word sentinel in any modern world technology game I play because the enemies associated with this word are all always to deal with.
Oh? Thanks for letting me know... Yeah the word sentinel kinda scary but there's a good sentinel, helping and guarding the player too.. Thanks for stopping by! !LUV
Thank you so much!
