A Week of Unforgettable Moments

A lot happened last week, and many of the moments were special and not part of my usual routine. One of the things that happened last week that I haven't shared yet was that our car's number plate fell off by itself. The first time it happened was on Monday when I was out of town for work. My wife told me the number plate had fallen off the back, so she took it to get a new one on Tuesday. Then, when I got back and drove the car on Thursday, the front number plate fell off. What made me really sad that day was that I didn't realize our kitten was hiding under the car, probably in the front bonnet or near the gas tank. I only noticed when I called the cats for their dinner in the evening, and the kitten didn't come. I had a bad feeling all day, and now I understand why. I guess the kitten must have jumped off somewhere. I'm still feeling sad about it today. I think it happened because I was in a rush that morning, as I was already running late.

Oh, and the flowers in front of our house have started to grow and bloom beautifully. We randomly planted the seeds along the side of the path we walk through after entering our gate. Sometimes, looking at these flowers really lifts my mood and brings some peace to my busy mind. Also, our plants like the cucumber are starting to bear fruit not long after we planted them. With the prices of vegetables going up in the market, at least our homegrown plants are helping us save a bit. Anyway, I'm thankful for the week that has passed. I had a great time fishing late at night for a few days earlier in the week. Even though I haven’t had the chance to clean up the garden yet, especially with the weeds, my wife never misses her time to water the plants. I’m really grateful for that and proud of her. And ya, the foods were also amazing!
