Hello, Ladies of the Hive! How are you all doing? This week, I plan on writing an essay on the given topic of which is proposed by @tibaire for this week’s challenge. I've gone with the second option, which is as follows:

2️⃣ Which would you prefer: to be able to see the future or to be able to see the past?

How ideal it would be if we could move back in time and toward the future. Each has its advantages, but I would prefer looking into the future.

However, my personal view is that I prefer to see what will happen tomorrow. My past is a lesson that I should always remind myself not to repeat those same mistakes for my future sake. No more do I have to dwell in the past. However, the one thing that I can do if I could change the past is to go back there myself.

Nevertheless, it would give me something that I have always wanted — the ability to foresee. I wonder what it is that the future has in store for me. Additionally, I should wish to learn what transpires for me on my own behalf to avert any misfortunes.

But I need to wake up now, it is all a dream. I must go back to reality so as to be able to live here now. In the present. For me, every memory from the past is a lesson, while the future is an open question.

So, all I want is to remain conscious of this moment and to gain wisdom from my past so that my future will be more fulfilling and more rewarding than its supposed too.
